Hello everybody.

Really really sorry I haven`t been around.

Illness has struck yet-a-bleedin-gain.

Got 20 inbox messages to read. Going to be a long night.

If I can help anyone, let me know.

welcome back matty.
i will update my rebug switchme
What is current the best option for a permament cfw boot?
the new Fusee Suite or here the switchboot?

I`m discontinuing Switchboot. All the extra features are in Fusee-Suite. Then you can run Hekate or whatever.

FuseeSuite doesn`tg require upgrading :)

Hi there.
I have installed the RCMx86 in my switch and am actually quite satisfied, if the battery becomes too weak and the switch turns itself off, I have a problem.
When I plug in the charger, nothing happens, I always took out the SD card, went to the switchboot menu and loaded from there.
And when the charger is connected, I can't start at all.
Another question:
Does Fusee Suite also have advantages for me as a internal Modchip user?

@mattytrog

hi there... its been a while since ive updated my switch (since v6.0.0 lol) so im just getting back into the game...
i actually got a message off you through my ebay shop when i was offering the service of soldering in trinkets using the old 4 wire only method. you had mentioned that things had come a long way since the beginning and that i should update stuff... that was probably last year sometime...nintendo themselves shut me down not long after this and my switch has remained on a shelf ever since...

ok its 2020 :P and now ive re soldered my trinket using the 7 wires.. so i have a usb strap (not fully sure what its doing but its there) i have the joycon strap (no idea why i didnt do this the first time because its so much better) and i HAD the vol+ strap.,..

the reason i say HAD... is because when i had it connected i lost all control of the volume. regardless of which pad i used... it was like it was always just activating the vol+ .... is this just how it is?

ive tried the switchboot (perma and dualboot) and now since seeing the comment above- im using the fusee bootloader...

am i missing something? otherwise as before thanks for the great work- everything else is working beautifully for me! just a few things im not sure of..

take it easy
scou

Hi, I installed the Trinket M0. Checked all my solder points. RCM strap works, the chip flashes purple, then yellow several times then red and doesn't boot. I put the fusee payload on the root of the SD card and named it payload.bin... any ideas?

Good morning @mattytrog, I have my chip installed for a long time and I constantly update it with switchboot, and it works perfectly, it injects the payload without problem, but in the last update it generates problems with usb installations, and I have to go back to an old version and it works without problems, you know what it can be?

update of Hekate 5.1.2? UF2? where is this stored? the github or ? cheers

so there will be no more switchboot UF2 files? we have to use fuseesuite? for Hekate 5.1.2? kind regards. Ben

Yeah I am discontinuing Switchboot. Not necessary. I mean, Hekate is hekate, right?

Better to use Fuse Suite as a prebootloader.

Greetings from germany. I installed successfully my trinket m0 with full wire mod, but now im reading that matty is no more supporting his Switchboot. Just to be clear, when i want to change to fusee suit i have to use the other thread with fusee suit
and copying part 1 and 2 again on the trinket ?

/Nevermind this was the way, only problem i had was this 2x reset and get into the UF2 Folder ; )

Hello and good afternoon, what a pity what I'm reading right now.

Couldn't you bring out an update again?

Please for the switchboot UF2.

I think a lot of people would be happy about it.

Matty seems to be missing in action at the moment

Have seen he hasn’t been online in ages... has anyone checked in on him to make sure he’s alright ?

I've emailed him twice and nothing back

He's usually straight back to me

I'm quite worried about him to be honest, his absence is totally out of character

Hello ive got some question about the trinket m0.
Can i update or change the hekate bin in pl2.h file (convert file to hex and copy in the src)?
Where should i store the payload bin ? On a SD Card or on the Trinket m0?
Can i choose the hekate bootloader after i presed the on button ?
Is it possible to create and boot auto to the emunand?
Where should the bootloader folder be ? on sd or trinket?
Sry for the question, but im struggle a bit.
