Tested and working. Thanks.

The reboot to RCM goes to RCM but doesn't autoload any payload... is this correct?

i never use reboot to RCM.
I shutdown my switch und when i press power it autoload my payload and all works perfect.

Nice feature for SXOS users...

Now, sorry again if this is an stupid question, but if we have SXOS payload renamed as payload.bin, how can we access to your hekate mod (internal flash) for license.dat restoring?
Easy... Just hold vol- or vol+ then power on.

At the moment. Looking to get that working. But yes right now it goes to rcm

Showing off the new install Matty did for me, this showing the very latest version of the boot software with all 3 straps installed

True meaning of the words 'cold boot'

Believe my SX licence is backed up internally too !

very nice video thanks.

Bugger...

Forgot that bit.

Email me your licence.dat and I'll make you a uf2 with your sxos licence in it

Can I do Fusee-UF2 with the universal method using the MAX state for the strap or is it not updated to support that yet? I prefer a minimal design where I just put a payload.bin file on the root and it just works.

MAX state for strap?

What do you mean?

Fusee-UF2 supports all straps. The only strap that actually needed programming into Fusee-UF2 was the USB strap. The rest are handled by Part 1.

@mattytrog, I've updated the Argon-nx payload to have larger icons 290x290 - also a couple of bug fixes (if the user had more than 4 payloads in the payload dir the icons wouldn't be displayed properly. I'll update the thread I made for the argon-nx mod later today. Here's a screenshot of the updated mod with larger icons (if you'e interested).

I'm having a strange issue with my install. I have the trinket m0 with all straps installed, and used the SWITCHBOOT_TRINKET_JOYCON_VOLUME.uf2 and the TRINKET_REBUG_SWITCHBOOT_PART2_V120.UF2 file with SX OS. Hetake shows all straps connected and it boots up perfectly as long as the joycons are not connected. If the joycons are connected, it does one of two things: wither boots to ofw or doesn't boot at all. What could be causing this? Any advice or insight would be appreciated, as I have tried to fix this for the past two days.

Just did this exact install and all is booting fine. Hows the soldering looking? Were the joycons modified prior?

The USB disconnect strap that goes to pin 2 on the trinket m0, that's connected to the max77620 isn't it?

small edit: The culprit seems to be the right joycon. Do you think that if the joycon soldering isn't done right it could cause this?

I want to update to 1.20, but I cannot get the Trinket M0 to show up as a drive, on Windows 10 nor Debian 9. (I tried USB 3 and 2, with a official Nintendo USB cable)

What I did:
Boot into OFW, going the the main menu.
Double press/click the reset button on the Trinket M0, red led flashes, then blue then a other red led. Blue and the other red led flash again once or twice...
I connect the USB cable during and after this led dance. USB 2/3.

Is there some drive I had to install or something?
Thanks for any help again. :)

Correct. However, we are going to the testpoint which is actually misleadingly next to BQ24193

OK... Build coming today...

Nothing major, a bigfix release... Lets call it 1.2.1

Changelog:

  • Fixed bug that would create empty BACKUP_ folders when using the "safe" option (BOOT0/1/PRODINFO) - thx to @mrdude for pointing that out.
  • In Restore BOOT0/1 with no size check, there was a bug that led to total sectors calculated incorrectly and as a result, a faulty restore using the highly secret BOOT REPAIR files would happen. Now emmc sectors for mis-sized files are calculated correctly...
...If using BLANK BOOT0/1, these will work correctly now. Very busy today so will be done in bits.
