Very doubtful encrypted.
Just need to connect to SWDIO & SWDCLK and dump 0 - 8192, or ideally 0 - 262144.

BOSSA should be able to do it. Maybe.

After all the time i want to update the modchip, which "Simple UF2" file should I use?

mattytrog, I have SX Pro. I am going to do the Trinkey M0 when it arrives. Is there anything special I need to do to use the payload? It says it is for non-Pro users.

Hi matty there are some reports that they can't inject any payload with tegrarcm/nxloader/dongle by entering to rcm and keeping the usb connected.

As I remember I was able to inject a payload with tegrarcm via PC... But I can't test it now.

Haven’t updated my uf2 in a long time and things have changed since my install. I don’t plan on redoing my install and noticed you don’t state which uf2 file to use with the strapless(4-wire). So, which one?

Use TRINKET/REBUG.That will sort you out. Payload.bin can be ANY payload (for example sx loader 1.0)

Interesting...
There should be zero issues connecting to PC. If there are issues, it has to be poor soldering. More than likely a poor GND connection. I`d like to hear more about this

I got the Trinket M0. I did as the instructions say and got into Switchboot mode and installed the SWITCHBOOT_TRINKET_JOYCON_VOLUME.uf2software. I installed the chip into the Switch according to the Top Trinket M0 diagram using both straps but none of the Pink arrow add ons except the usb disconnect one. So, the chip goes into RCM mode as verified by TegraRcmSmash1213. i sent it a payload but got no results. I can see the red leds on the modchip flashing red but the Switch does not boot at all. I put the SX os payload .bin on the SD card. Any pointers on what to explore next? Thanks.

Have you put Simple-UF2 on there too?

Also, could you give an explanation of the led behaviors when it is correct? now I get a green led in the middle, and a slow flashing red on the edge led. when I open the chip in file explorer the files I installed disappeared. Is that ok?

No thats the right one.SWITCHBOOT, then Simple-UF2.

It has to work. If it doesn`t you have a wire / soldering issue.
