Is your trinket flashable without problem with the switch and usb C cable ?

try this:

1) boot to hekate
2) double press reset
3) connect
4) boot something

and now open switchboot on my pc

or you must wait for mattys answer ;)

Niceeeee thxxxx its worxx reallly with the methode was that now new sooo ?

Yes. With firmware 7.0.0 / sept etc, you can no longer access SWITCHBOOT uf2 drive. Nintendo changed something (by the looks of it) and it hijacks the USB port.

With the newer Switchboot versions, there is a SAMD21 update mode. Which should let you update without booting into HOS.

yes this is new with switchboot version 1.0 ;) but have ask matty too :D
now dont forget it ^^

Thank-you for helping the chap out sir!

The newest one. Follow the OP. Switchboot part 1 controls the straps. You choose a file to either boot into CFW all the time, or dual-boot.

I still support method 3 with software, but it is very out of date. Better ways of doing things now!

Yes. I called "Universal method". Don`t know why!

In the modchip thread, they are all the latest drawings / pictures. Follow that.

Then, flash part 1 UF2 (once only)
then flash part 2 UF2 (latest version?)

Done.

okay

the menu is hekate like one with 4.10.0 Or ?

With opinion payload. bin / payload 1. bin ?

Yes. It is a quite heavily modified version of Hekate that adds features for modchip users.

If payload, or payload1 or 2 or 3 etc etc is found, this will boot automatically.

It doesnt take vol strap away. It is just unrecorded until you press it. Press it and it will update on next boot.

If it does nothing, then double-check soldering on RCMX86 chip. The chip should be disabled in code once it goes to sleep.

Thats all I can suggest.
If there are problems, it HAS to be the USB logic chip.

The uf2 update is the only method that does anything. I've tried it a couple of times then reboot to 1.3.1 boot to check status and it's the same it says my vol+ is disabled.

I've checked the soldering on my rcmx86 and it looks fine.

When i get a chance I'll open it up and disconnect usb strap and see if that helps.

Hi again. I have RCMX86 modchip and I can test the usb issues...

As I've never installed anything with goldtree you should guide me...

I've no idea with gold tree or whatever it's called.

But I do know that the diagrams and code are correct. I'm thinking it is a soldering issue or that usb logic ic. I'll have a play tomorrow with a rcmx86 and see if can straighten the issues out.

I've always just used tinfoil 0.2.1 and aluminum to xfer and it used to work. Try those.

Thanks I've downloaded tinfoil 1.55 and nut server...

RCMX86 here.

No problem with USB install.
