    Hi all,

With all the advance in tri core linux, do you think we wiil have a tri core wiimc? Sometimes decoding some videos make wiimc really slow, and I think that accessing to extra cores could help with some videos

Not likely as wiimc uses libogc, and that doesn't work with multiple cores.
It might be possible to create something like geexbox or use something like Vlc in linux to achieve the goal you are seeking.
That's the nice thing about linux. Once you have it setup and running properly, you can use a lot of existing linux programs after recompilation for the architecture they should work on.
We still don't know when 3 core linux will be ready and mature enough for every day use.
Once it is, we still rely on Team FailOverflow to get the Wiiu exploit that will unlock the wiiu extra memory and will make the cpu cores run at full speed. Both are essential for a good linux experience.

What is more likely to happen is a tri core XBMC. But multi core decoding is not that common I think and may not provide a huge benefit. The Wii/Wii U is just too slow to decode HD video in software properly.
