Can someone tell me what the translation status is on this and lost evolution? I don't facebook, so I can't check.
The last post is still the first of January. The comments however is a bit newer. Someone replied to someone asking about the project 4 weeks ago with this:Can someone tell me what the translation status is on this and lost evolution? I don't facebook, so I can't check.
To which the project lead replied with:The game is finished on translation but its on a beta stage where they are testing, as far as i know they were on exams, but now they must be doing more of it, so maybe we get it soon, but we dont have any more news yet
Romstar said:Absolutely correct. That's the status.
man... at this point they should just release it to the community- many people would find and report bugs faster then a small group of testers
some people have been waiting so long for this...feel like OP has taken on too much along with his health issues
Findings bugs isn't the problem at this point, fixing them is. We'd also compromise our quality standards if we'd release an unfinished product.
Also, think of the pain of actually supporting such a patch...
CTGP 7 does this just fine- amazingly well actually- you have a app that you can download RIGHT on to your 3DS
Don’t worry for every person like that there’s 10 more supporting you and waiting patientlyDon't compare us to other teams, don't tell us what to do. Comments like these are incredibly poorly received by the team.
We're making the patch for a story driven game. Releasing it in an incomplete state will mean that people will play a version that does not meet the quality standards we hold ourselves up to and they'll probably never play the final version. A public beta release is not a viable option and we face no shortage of possible, internal, testers.
It's simply not the resource we'd need to speed up the process, if anything it would slow it down.
So when exactly can we expect it? If you're as far along as you claim you are, it should be good to give an estimate right?Don't compare us to other teams, don't tell us what to do. Comments like these are incredibly poorly received by the team.

oh hi syd, i ran into you on gamefaqs asking for some help ripping the Digimon World 1 models and you replied with assembly level code stuff i didn't get.2020. Remember, we're not getting paid, this is our hobby. How much time we are able to invest into the project is not something that can be planned in advance.

I know it's not the place, but do you or any colleague have any interest in ripping those? Apparently you have all the knowledge needed to do so. I'd volunteer to help with any tedious manual "user level" work necessary, because that's all i can offer sadly.
Regarding Redigitize Decode, is there anything we could do to help? anything you need? graphic designers, japanese translators?
Thanks for your dedication to the franchise
yeah i've seen that post that says something like "it's gotta be as good as the original to the point people questions that's not the original, also get ready to be told your work is total shite" or something along the lines. I know my way around photoshop but i'm not sure i'd like to spend 2+ hours on an image for free to get told it's shit so eh. You could post whatever image you need edited here on in your facebook page and i'd consider it if it seems doable tho. If it's ever neededRegarding Decode having more coders, translators, editors and probably also artists could help, although at this stage I'm not sure there is a lot to do left. Also Romsstar's standards are very high, so finding a fit isn't always easy.^^
I am so stoked waiting for this translation, I can't wait!!! I hope the team is staying safe and healthy, I know Romstar had some problems.....
see, new things I did not know, I hope people will be more understanding about Romstars and this translation project. Some problems is an understatement, he could probably write an essay about it. I think he still has eye problems from that botched eye surgery.
The wait is well worth it, Could you imagine if for some reason they are dubbing it LOL, that would be a cool option.I've been patiently waiting for this for years now so I don't mind a little more. excited to know it's coming anytime this year still though!
