    Tomdev has created a sprite loading library for LibNDS. Currently the library file can load sprites from FAT and NitroFS. The benefit of this is that sprites do not have to be compiled into your binary. For more information please visit the links below.

    Wouldn't having the sprites in the binary be faster? (Curious)
    This is nice so that for games ppl can make their own characters n' such

    including sprites is not really faster, when you load a sprite with this lib it just opens the sprite file and load into ram(this maye take a litlle bit more time but not much), after that with animation and so on, it's not slower but just as fast as normal.

    note:
    if you use nitrofs, the files ARE in your binary, so i recommend that instead of using fat. but if you want to customise i would go for fat. so it's up to you what you choose
