I have bean looking for this answer myself also - it has some-think to do with ARM9 and ARM7 - if i knew it i would have done it by now!

They are people with answers like Pong or Retro - are someone called Cid as far as i know... - but they are not willing to share just like big kids , are not enough attention as one - if they did we could build a bridge!

I will keep trying to lean - but the vital part of the data in that area about ^ is the key - but even three byte's could work out at 1000 combinations

drwhojan,

do you think that this arm9 memory we can see in Desmune has the codes for infolib somewhere?
or do the hackers just come up with these binaries?

also, there's some patterns in infolibs from recent games, but some parts are totally different.

I'm not trying to pressure you or anything, but good luck, heh. I'm in no position to help myself :/ sorry.

If only there was a way for you to reverse engineer some of the fixed games... Maybe that would help?

(Also, obligatory begging: Spiderman SD, Batman Brave and Bold, Super Scribblenauts are on my wishlist... all of them errcode=-4)

They have their own life too you know? And they probably go to school and and use their knowledge to figure it out...

And FYI they DID teach other ppl, they told me part of it, they can't just sit there and type it all down... is not hard to do but is a long process after you learn how to debug.

Please learn how to spell.
If I remember correctly, they did try to help you, you just want to be spoon fed everything.

Please get over it.
retro indeed helped drwhojan, whether he learned anything or not is his problem.
They do not have to help, they are not forced to and somehow in your mind, that makes them big kids.
Strange.

Totally agree, they helped me but I couldn't understand because I don't know how to debug...

My thought:

And come on now people, lets be real. Who helped the DSTT community for almost a year since DSTT team abandoned it? Retro and Pong! Well they helped with HUGE updates but not all, and now you guy just go and leech then back stabbing them like that?...

Well, that is just how I feel about the leecher in this DSTT community that shows no respects to them after all the work they had done...

Edit: on my phone... quoting is off and it will take too long to fix it since it doesn't have cut and paste

Sorry no one ever tout me any-think about infolib.dat data for each ROM

As i can workout for myself you can match the game code and get most of the arm7 data - they is only two vital parts that will allow the game to boot if game is patched in extinfo.dat - it will load but not fully soling as it boot's

Is my spelling that bad ?, are do people wish to get what i mean ?..., OK i did have learning difficulty's as a kid and went to specie needs - sill rubs of on me now

I did manage to fix two games back then in the passed - wario wares D.I.Y (E) different offsets and data in infolib.dat needed a change , and blue dragon (E) as share the same offset's

Yes they are pattens in infolib.dat data for each ROM

Take

Sekaiju no Meikyuu III - Seikai no Raihousha (J)

Code:
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 AC AA 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 AB 00 00 28 AC 00 00
70 AB 00 00 E0 AC 00 00 FF FF FF FF 70 AD 00 00
A8 AE 00 00 9C AF 00 00 68 C8 00 00 60 BB 0F 00
68 48 00 00 FF FF FF FF EC C9 00 00 FF FF FF FF
48 09 00 00 64 F5 00 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

68 C8 00
EC C9 00

Them two for DS game only - is the most impotent part of the ARM9 area - but i can not find it in the RAM are ROM

This part would have changed for the only for the Etrian Odyssey III The Drowned City (U) version

You might have given me a good idea what was the difference with all version of wario wares diy from the (J) version to the (U) and (E) , game code UORJ...

EDIT: Wario Wares DIY difference in infolib.dat for vital part of the boot code - as Long as it's fixed in extinfo.dat

Image54.png

09 remains the same but not always for certin games - the reset is slight different for each ROM - but just one little change and it will not boot that area is the vital part!

EDIT:

Picking on someone's spelling isn't gonna help.

By the way, darkspirit456, you could share a bit of information that you've been given, as you said previously, maybe someone can figure something out.

That is true!, but I'm not going to be put of about my spelling!, Those people who always knock people are not do-wing anythink them self's about it and have no interest to , And if you are not do-wing anything about it, please but out of it!

For the Internet where you are meant to find out information , i look on google and nothing but complaint's about errcode=-4 , it don't work , est - no helpful information how to get infolib.dat data from a ROM are ram at all...

So i will keep looking until some think useful turns up!
