    my dad works for nintendo.
    Title, ya or Nay?

I think I can find a old 2ds somewhere with a old bundle (not on recent firmares)
Unban my console and return it the next day..

Alternatively call Nintendo with an excuse I bought my o3ds console in a pawn shop or something
There was a rumor you could contact nintendo to unban the console which I don't believe...

    my dad works for nintendo.
I would call them if the call didn't cost more than a Sex phone line
They don't have a phone number for my country, I have to contact the English one and badly speak English with a guy that speaks less English than my dog
I may send an email to get a generic robot answer which clearly one can see they didn't even read the letter

Um, that sounds like a bad idea...just buy a new 3ds and keep that one instead. That way you can install a9lh on the new one and re-download the other games from freeshop if u backup ur saves

it´s a nice idea you can argue that the system is banned in the store and they will send it to nintendo

    my dad works for nintendo.
    not worth 200 bucks
already paid 200 bucks for this one and i don't use it enough to worth the money i spent...
200 bucks for the same console slighty upgraded? not going happen... have more fun smelling the 200 bucks at night than i would had with a new 3ds
maybe i buy a new 3ds xl in 5 years or more... but i'd like to get online cuz i miss badge center crane games and eshop music (lel, ok, the real reason is super mario maker)

i know it's a dick move but bite me. so far i have all pokemon games and my favorite games phisically purchased. never got banned for illegally download games, i can still download them got banned cuz i ignored common knowledge of not going online wiht a game that was not released
so i think this was a bad punishement... i mean, i am still downloading free gaemz, all i wanted now is to use some of my purshased games online (and lets be honest, the free games too)
but then, i will be just a dick to next buyer, and that is not excuse cuz nintendo was kinda a dick to us...

    — Posts automatically merged - Please don't double post! —

yeah.. i think IF next buyer tries to go online with it and IF THERE IS A PROBLEM, they can call nintendo\store, got the receipt and easily get a new one\repair it
probably my own 3ds will be banned again in the future if that 2ds gets into nintendo and they track what happened
the ban was before they purchased, so... there is no real arm to next buyers...
buyers get the system a few days later after the ban, provide receipt, done.

Opened electronic returns are returned to manufacturer. They do not get resold in stores like Walmart and Best Buy. A mom and pop shop might resell it.

Why did you go online in a game that wasn't released yet? What did you think was going to happen?

Nothing will happen to the buyer unless the banned person injects his banned LFCS in the 3DS he returns. I've been using a LFCS that a few others use and there is no problems unless one of the users intentionally ban the LFCS.

Not really, my nephew had trouble returning a 3ds he bought from gamestop because it was banned and they didn't want to accept the return. the first time I legitimately went apeshit for the first time in a store...don't do this op, don't be that asshole and just upgrade to a n3ds.

By he I mean his parents obviously.

It is a pretty dick move... but to be honest, if I was in your position that's what i would do. :D
I'd feel kinda guilty though, thinking that whatever kid ends up getting the system won't be able to play online on his Mario Kart. Maybe buy the 2DS, unban your o3DS with it, and sell it on eBay - (fully stating that may have limited online functionality in the listing). At least then you won't be feeling any guilt.

Nintendo created the situation. Sure, you're probably going to inconvenience someone else, but it's Nintendo's fault for the environment in the first place and making the bans permanent. Nintendo also knows full and well that one can unban a system doing the above method, but they don't care who gets hurt in the banning process.

If I cared enough about online play and didn't already snag a private LFCS from a friend (haven't had the need to load it and use it yet), I would have done this.

What if nintendo decides to start banning multiple lfcs or someone does something ban with that current lfcs you are putting a lot of ifs to something that shouldn't be done, period.

    my dad works for nintendo.
depends on store policy and reason of return..
if you say the console is not working or something wrong with it they may ask a employee with experience to test it and check it. or send it to repair\return to nintnedo right away...
but if the reason is "my niece didn't like the console" or something like that, they most likely just put it back in the shelves the bext day (after verify it is not damaged) since there is no reason to send the console to repair..
