It picked up three for me. It's way easier to download a movie (or boxed set of a show) than ripping it. I've tried it a few times and it took me about an hour to finish one movie, and the audio was out of sync.

1) I'm pretty sure it only shows ones that you have finished downloading recently

Get a good virus scanner or switch to a unix OS.
My laptop is connected to the internet 24/7.
Rarely gotten a virus/trojan/whatever.

ok my borther has downloaded millions of torrents from the pirtae bay and it says i got nothing.
