Looks like I'm safe what about you?
huh, I'm downloading a torrent right now...
Yup, me too.
bullshit, I'm downloading two torrents from a public tracker.
also gg, that site lists tons of different torrent sites
Same here, no records.
Wonder how many posts until someone who actually has records on that site appears...
Just for giggles I tried a Google DNS address
Burn Notice is being downloaded right now yet it says has no records.
From a well-known public tracker.
Also, dynamic IPs.
no records on my ip (thank you private trackers) but this will scare a lot of people
Its a scam, but a very smart one, since 63% of all people shared this with their friends believing, thus the website gets profit from advertisement revenue.
That's what I was going to mention.
I downloaded something off a torrent a while ago, with µTorrent, non-private.
Still says I'm in the clear.
Not considering downloading copyrighted music in Canada is legal under certain circumstances.
you're not so dumb alan.
I've just tried a range of IPs near to me. And out of 10 IPs it found 1 downloader... who was downloading Jersey Shore... they deserve to get caught.
It says I've downloaded a film called Leverage and that I live in Norfolk. Tis bullshit.
And the downloaded files shows the one which i don't remember downloading.
Followed by several things that I did in fact download. Cracked Winamp, OSX Lion, Burn Notice, Anime...
Edit: should I care about this?
I laughed. He's torrenting which makes his IP publicly available to those who have the .torrent plus he is asking via Facebook, which makes him more publicly available.
Edit: It might be a she but who cares
leverage is a tv show
He lives in Norfolk so don't expect him to know better.
It only tracks 20% of torrent sites apparently and they still probably can't track every torrent on every site.
lol I don't use a private tracker.
I don't torrent so I thought it worked. Good thing I read comments before I showed it to my friends.
