Yeah it's a pretty awesome form of anti-piracy protection. Props to whoever designed that one!

My sim keeps passing out, and she's hella pissed from a lack of entertainment. I sit her in front of the TV, but that doesn't seem to fill her entertainment bar at all. And when I feed the chick, she doesn't always get full before passing out. Last time I fed her, I had to shut the game off because she just kept eating -- couldn't stop her and her gauge wasn't climbing.

Ah well...I guess I just don't get The Sims. Seems like it could be fun, though. Don't remember Sim 2 DS being this finicky.

The Sims 2, compared to The Sims 3, sucked pretty bad anyway.

I'm loving this game, when all the stats are running alright and no mood swings go off. I'm using AKAIO 1.8.1, and since I turned on AAP, there haven't been any weirdo APs kicking in. I've played twice for about an hour, since enabling AAP, and it's still good.

Wonder if that solves it.

How? It has AP.

Akaio & DSTwo have AP bypass. M3 doesn't.

You can wait for Wood M3 1.15. That will fix it.

Ah...what a weird effect on gameplay for AP to have. Guess it just performs in a way to cause random bugs.

Does this work on EZ-Flash Vi?

I was able to get passed the white screen and the game does run, when using eNDryptS Advanced_v1.2. But, I'm getting a very slow frame rate throughout playing the game.

That's part of the AP, I think.

i got karma hints, but haven't seen a chance to acquire one yet. so i need to get lucky and wait for a symbol to come up, on for example the light house, after clicking it?

Yeah. I've had the Vi for over a year almost. I was worried from the start if it would be an ok flash card. Got it really cheap and knew it wasn't the most popular one to use for the DS. Not sure if SUXXORS patched version would help, seems hard to find if it's really out there. If not that, maybe a new update for EZ-Flash.

No, it's purposely done like this to make the AP harder to figure out (that it exists) and to ruin the game experience of those that pirate. This isn't the first game that's done this sort of thing, let you play the game but keep fucking it up for you. Pokemon black/white's AP doesn't let you gain any EXP, the megaman zero collection's AP messed up the background graphics, and some other games have been known to let you play for just a bit before bringing up a piracy message (mostly GBA days with this last one).

I played for so long yesterday. Got my sim to the top of the business career, and I have all the best items and fully upgraded them. Guess it's time to start dating my married friend and split their family apart.

Also, the ability to gain extra money at work through the "run numbers" option is SO overpowered, lol! You gain 1% of your total paycheck every 2 minutes (of Sim time, so 2 seconds in reality). You end up making about 2.5x more money than if you didn't do it!

It's also interesting that you can no longer have homosexual relationships.
I liked seeing the girls woohoo, haha.
