maybe not sure tho, in the game settings you can select a file maybe you can select .dat files.

No, you select .gba files. I can't figure out why you'd want to, though. I discovered that if i do that, it won't let me load the game (i have no working slot 2 device). So it's doing something w/ the .gba file.

Btw if you try that, and don't have a slot 2... the only way i've found to fix it is to delete the .opt file.

you might have a homebrew which is crashing your DiskCheck.

NDS-GBA ROM linker is for games like Pokemon. If you have a Slot-2 and a GBA Pokemon ROM, you can link those games together so you can do Pal Park and what not.

-on the version 1.41 i could start a game after a softreset, but now, in the new version 1.42 i can't...
the firmware hangs on the pink loading bar...

im sorry, if the problems are mentioned.
i watched in the 'known bug list', but there arent the problems...

i hope, it will be better

they fixed that problem in 1.41, and on 1.42 the problem gets even worst than before, soft reset back to Sakura breaks all games

Hmmm...I guess I'll add this back on the Known Bugs section.

you could replace the g6dsload.eng on 1.42X with the one from 1.41 2nd edition to solve the problem
but, it would shown 1.41 when you boot up Sakura

Is it really that important to link to that cheat file on the topic post when the cheats routinely don't work? Say, the Enemy HP 0 w/ R+Up and Restore Pokemon HP w/ Start codes in Pokemon HeartGold. Might as well post a random string of numbers and claim it turns everything in the game tie-dyed.

only the boot animation will shown 1.41, the game core engine is still 1.42

It's supposed to make codes activate instantly when the game starts, instead of ten seconds in. Despite the fact that codes are SUPPOSED to start instantly BY DEFAULT. So it's basically just showing another incompetency of the M3 team through their propensity of just tacking things on when they've grown complacent and lazy after all the initial work. Now they just rely on people to find fixes for specific games and wait a month or two to release an update. That's why codes generally don't work on the M3. Also the black text in the cheats menu regardless of skin.

the Pokemon cheats are just Pointer codes, M3Real has no problem handling them, you should complain it to the hack who made the code instead on keep complaining everytime a new firmware comes out that the cheats don't work

again, to clear things up, long cheat description will never in any versions of official English Sakura firmwares
try to request a scroll function, so the long description could scroll across the screen when you highlight the long cheat

it's a Touchpod update, why would it fix issues on Sakura??? Touchpod's game engine has nothing to do with Sakura

"2. Using M3DS Real original system v4.5Beta X to run the game engine, game compatibility and M3DS Real System v4.5Beta X the same as original."

The game engine actually uses TouchPod now. That's why we need the update. Can somebody who got it plzze upload it?
