Because it's going to be a premiere NX title, possibly even a launch title. It will have much less luster if it's that slutty demo that's already been passed around by everyone and their uncle.

Or at least that's what I imagine the rationale is.

This is highly unlikely. Nintendo doesn't even let their own employees touch the amiibo prototypes. I don't think some random could figure out a way to dump the whole demo under their watch.

Also I remember that Skyward Sword demo being dumped but if you recall it was a month or within a couple of weeks till the official release. Makes you wonder why it wasnt dumped near the time of E3.

It's possible that someone on the E3 or Nintendo staff could get a hold of the demo unit in private, don't count this out just yet. It's happened before. Possibly even a retailer could have got the demo.
