The Adventures of Duane and BrandO
8-bit Hiphop
l_3b2dd41ad5ca2eb69a5901132493b343.jpg

Duane and Brand0 are the definition of NERD based GEEK hip-hop! Their albums are a parody of 8-bit gaming and silly dialogue. The EP of Doom is a free download and I recommend real hip-hop lovers give it play.

Until the Dark Prince Ganon appeared and said:
"The Triforce is mine and everything is dead!"

Thanks to BillyS for the good looks!

I used to be a big fan and I waited forever for the LP and then I got it and everything was good and then I don't like much and my interest for them fades away.

Love Nerdcore, gonna check these guys out.

The king, MC frontalot is still head of my playlist. For those of you who haven't heard him, and are into nerdcore, he is the spear head of nerdcore.

Jesse Dangerusly, also is great, although nerdy, not always true nerdcore. A great hip hop artist still.

To add to the list

mcchris - voices cartoon and an excellent lyricist. Raps about Star Wars, robo-trips, harry potter, kevin bacon.

YTCracker- a descent lyricist with beats straight out of Megaman and Blaster Master. Best VG beats Ive heard since OC Remix.

i didn't think such a dorky post could be made about duane and brando
guess i was wrong

"NERD-based GEEK hip hop" is probably the most redundant term i've ever heard, another world

and I'll be honest, I love hip-hop as a genre and I really, really can't stand Duane and Brando. They sound like pissed-off kids in front of a bunch of guitar riffs, "fuck" thrown here and there. Their Earthbound project sounded pretty great - really, if they pulled that off I think I'd have some more respect for them.

I never did quite figure out why MegaMan/Rockman was so popular in the USA, it was just about above average imho...From memory, the series had hardly any/if at all marketing until the snes days over here...

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
