TX Releases Another Update To Their SX OS, with lots of nice improvements in v1.4

We have not heard from TX for a while, but don't worry, they back with nice new update to their SX OS, check out v1.4 below:

SX OS v1.4 Announcement​

Good day, loyal users!

While we chip away at many different features for SX OS and additions to our SX hardware family we took a break to prepare an update for SX OS with some exciting new functionality and outstanding bug fixes.

Let's have a look at what's new and fixed in this release:

• Integrated NSP installer
  With our last update we introduced the possibility of installing eShop NSP titles. However, this relied on using external tools and wasn't very user friendly. In this release we bring our own integrated NSP installer as part of our menu system. This is the neatest and easiest way of installing NSP titles, enjoy!
• Integrated homebrew launcher
  Launching homebrew used to be done by launching NX HBMenu by holding R when entering the album. While we kept this possibility (mostly for developers), you can now also launch your favorite homebrew directly from our own menu!
• IR / motion plus issue fixed
  A few games (like 1-2-Switch and Resident Evil) were suffering from freezes when enabling the joycon IR camera or motion controls.
• Allow unsigned NCA
  People asked us if we could get rid of the NCA integrity checks, so we did! Custom NCA files, modified NCA files and repackaged NCA files should all work fine now.
• Display SX OS version in menu
  To better distinguish the different versions of SX OS we introduced a small version number display in our menu.
• LayeredFS fixes for 4.1.0
  There were certain issues with 'LayeredFS' for people on firmware 4.1.0. If you use 'LayeredFS' on that specific firmware there's good news for you: these issues have been identified and fixed!

And that's that for this release. We have quite the backlog of feature requests and todo's on our plate, but trust we'll get there!

People get shunned when they don't understand concepts, laughed at and made fun of by the very community that loves open source.Yet when they ask for help, 2/10 people provide helpful replies while the rest make jokes or direct the person to google.

This is So True!!! I have found when working with Linux and having issues with something or another if i ask help I get treated like an idiot, especially when asking for assistance with code on StackOverflow. I found the only way to get help is to post something like "Such and Such is a Piece of Shit, cause Windows can obviously do it" and all the sudden everybody gets on the defense and here comes all the helpful responses!

Installing NSP in 1.3 was pretty easy actually. All you had to do was to download a free pokémon game and move a few files to the SD card.

They probably just wanted to chill people whining about them using free community tools on their proprietary solution a bit.

And what I also don't get is everytime SX OS gets an update you always manage to find a way to shame people for liking TX. Like 75% of people here don't give a shit if they stole code.

hence why I said, don't get why you people keep defending shitty practices like this they stealing the work of other hard working devs and running off with the money. Instead of giving money out to thieves, donate some money to the people who really did all the work.

That's fine but what is pointing it out everytime they release something gonna do? Yeah it was a surprise the first time but what do you expect now? Yes they use other people's code and that's just how it is.
Maybe help program Atmosphere or something so no one buys TX..

Not a programmer but I did donate a couple of times to some devs over the years because I appreciate the hard work they put in it.
