Why haven't they swapped to a better host? Or upload all firmware updates to mediafire or something? This seems to be an issue that could be easily avoided.

these are beta firmwares they don't really want spread around apart from their forum, in that way they want to control it..
the official non-beta releases are not that frequently updated

It would be on their forum. It would be uploaded off site, and linked to.

I think you meant that they want their betas on their SITE.

Download the beta (version 1 is fine, but 2 should work too). Or if you're scared just patch the game like all the other flash cards.
