I quite agree with your sentiments. I really do want to see the DS Tales games in english, but official localisation is the method I prefer the most (especially when they get released in my country, a copy of the game is always bought so the series gets some support here). It's just that when people see something like this in a community such as this one (based around hacking and such, instead of a fanbase dedicated to the series), certain conclusions are jumped to more often than others are.

I really want to see Namco localise this (as cliche-riffic the story can get, admittedly), but if that doesn't happen, it's comforting to know a fan translation team might pick it up after the appropriate "grace period" of no indication of official localisation is passed.

Yeah, sorry for having you go to the trouble of helping me keep it anonymous and then revealing it within a few hours anyway. People realized fairly quickly that Kingcom and I had produced the screen. Once that happened, we were afraid that people would get the wrong idea about our intentions. So rather than allow things to get out of hand, we decided that it would be best just to explain the whole ordeal.

Glad you're looking forward to ToI. It's still got my full attention.
