Hi.
I'm wondering someting concerning tabs "All News", "Popular", "Gaming", "Homebrew" and "Videos".
Which value is used for the ranking on each tabs ?
From which forum section each portal's news in a tab come from ?
If ranking is based on thumb up & down, why aren't we able to give a thumb up or down also in the "GBAtemp Magazine News " section ?

Thanks for your answers.

All News is everything combined, Gaming is from here, Homebrew is from here and Videos is from here. Popular is (I think) based on the popularity of the subject in the world/on the temp.

The ranking on the tabs is only based on the date it was posted, the newly posted things are on top of the list, et vice versa.

Thanks for your answers guys. You confirm my thought.
Anyway, about "Popular" tab, i'm pretty sure it's based on the tumb up & down.
This option is only available on the front page as i can see.

Could it be also available on every first post of a thread in the forum section where Popular news are grabbed from ?

For now we can only vote on News that appear on the portal which probably doesn't show the real popularity in the forum section.

Well, i'm also wondering which factor determine the 3 top pictures news. This one seems to have nothing logical.
It's someone from the magazine staff who choose that ?

The order of the tabs is the same as the forums they are linked to (so if a topic gets stickied, it'll go on top of the others on the portal as well). The topics in the sections are sorted by post date.
The "popular" tab is sorted by amount of Likes
