Hardware Sysnand of retail machine

Thinking of buying a O3DS XL to tide me over while waiting for the N3DS XL GW release.

What sysnand do consoles currently come with in Canada/USA? less than 9.2? (other than N3DS that has some 9.4's?)

Thank you sir. Went out and bought a unit. Sure enough it was like 8.2 or something.
Downgraded it to 4.x and am gatewaying while gatewaiting my N3DS.

You should have taken at least 2 dumps (preferably 3) and binary compared them...
Most likely your mod is working but your NAND is bad
So when you wrote it back to the console, it screwed something

Now that I'm on 4.2 I want to use the old offline exploit rather than the 9.2 exploit.
You know what tutorial I need to follow? My searches are just finding 1000 pages with CFW 4.xx exploits.

Looking for a basic GW 4.xx offline exploit. (using official GW card)

It should have come with the GW 3.0 files you downloaded, look in the 'Files for Blue Cart' or whatever it is called.

Sure! All right basically you need to head on over to the Gateway site, then over to the 'Downloads' section and download the latest GW Ultra release.

Then place launcher.dat on the root of your 3DS's SD card (not inside any folder). What you also need is the blue gateway cart. In your download you'll find a folder called 'Blue Card (R4i)'. Copy all of its contents to a micro SD card, which you then insert into the blue gateway cart.

Put the blue gateway cart into your 3DS and launch it, then launch GW_Installer.nds

Once that's done, restart your 3DS, go to System settings, go to your Profile, then hold L whilst tapping 'DS Profile', and you should see the Gateway menu appear

You don't need to follow the steps with the blue card every time. That only needs to be done every time you play any NDS game on your 3DS, or a GBA virtual console game, since that resets the exploit.

Awesome this is what i was missing.
Funny. I saw this folder when doing the original 9.2 exploit but saw no reference to it in any tutorials so I ignored it.
I'll try it out later.
