no way it's 1000x but if you search around and read some reviews there's some decent ones for cheap and using it on a screen is a lot easier than analog pixelhunting with a magnifying glass.

i got it cause i had a free credit from a "crazy deal" i was thinking of getting it before the mod chip but not sure how useful it will be if i decide to mod my lite

As far as I have seen on reviews of same looking microscopes it was more around 30-50x with not that great image quality - some even mentioned that it didnt work too well for small soldering.

Tbh. instead of a like 10 buck microscope I am pretty sure most higher end smartphones these days offer a better magnified picture (since they have 30-100x zoom - sure its mostly digital but at least with a decent sensor and software) - havent found any decent usb microscopes below like 50 bucks.

Testers in my country Vietnam had received the sample and successfuly install it to Switch V2 and Lite. Everything works perfectly: battery life, heat... is same with normal use.
The issue: Sample SX core/Lite is quite difficult to install and if you do it carelessly, you could brick your Switch.

Hope the official mod chip will be released soon.

At Taobao in China, they are supposed to receive the chips no later than first week of July. So I think they will start sending official units to everyone after July.

Yeah chip seems to work just fine, it's the software and that is the point of the bug testing right?

From what I'm seeing progress is good!

No idea.. but that's software stuff

By itself the hardware mod is pretty difficult to detect and it's fixable by SX
