Hekate has an MTP feature that allows you to transfer files via a USB cable.I'm using Atm with a rcx right now. So everytime I want to inject or modify something on my SD card I have to take out the card and turn off my Switch. Is there any method that can help me connect my (sd card) Switch to my laptop using just a cable? Because it always takes a lot of time.
What are you trying to boot from Hekate? And what happens when you try booting it?Can someone please help!!
After trying unsuccessfully to figure out why Metroid Dread just stopped working. Now my Switch won't boot after this screen.
Any suggestions??
Booting straight into Atmosphere is vague. There are 2 ways of booting into Atmosphere; either with Hekate or fusee. Fusee is the default method of launching Atmosphere while Hekate requires either user configuration or downloading a pre-configured setup. Booting Atmosphere via Hekate has always been the superior option because not only is it faster but allows you to choose how you want to boot; fusee only boots Atmosphere and won't show you if its booting emuMMC or sysMMC. Using Hekate to inject fusee is the same as using fusee to boot Atmosphere so this is only useful if you're a purist who wishes to boot Atmosphere the intended way but keep Hekate as it is the most useful tool in the Switch scene.Hey. Just switch from SXOS to Atmosphère.
What's the difference between booting straight to Atmosphère and using Hekate to inject fusée ?
Thx in advance.
You do not 'install' Hekate nor Atmosphere. Hekate is a payload that you must send every time you turn off the console and Atmosphere exists solely on the SD card; it cannot be installed to the console itself.@Draxzelex thanks for reply,if i understand correctly i just need a jig.
Another question: with Rekado can i install both Hekate and Atmosphere?
So make a copy of your hekate_ipl.ini file, delete the old bootloader folder, put the new onto your SD card, and put the backup of your hekate_ipl.ini file in the new bootloader folder.I have done this and got an error about the ipl not having entries, so I copied my original ipl onto the card and am now back to a red screen shortly after injecting the payload. Sorry, not sure what to try!
Try installing it with TinWoo Installer instead.Hi guys,
All the .nsp I install with tinfoil or goldleaf that are recent won't install properly.
The installation process goes smoothly but when trying to launch the newly installed nsp I get an error message and it wont launch.
sometimes The nsp icon on the switch menu shows as broken after trying to launch it once.
I tried different sources, and nothing; always for the same nsp files.
And yet , updates for nsp already installed work perfectly fine when installed via tinfoil.
IV1 switch
firmware 13.0
atmosphere 1.1.1 updated via aio updater
sigpatches are up to date and the payload I use is fusee.bin.
micro sd formated in exfat.
1. Where did you download your patches from?Greetings all -- Recently updated my Switch to latest version of Atmosphere/DeepSea and FW 13.0 -- A few quick questions:
1 - I updated all the sigpatches to 13.0 hekate package but no matter what I do the XCI or NSP for Dying Light Platinum Edition installs but also shows as corrupted data. I have tried Tinfoil, DBI, etc and nothing works.
2 - Since Dying Light is a brand new game and this looks like a sigpatch error, how do you get sigpatches for the newest 0 day games?
3 - I used to boot hekate to fusee directly but with 13.0/newest Atmosphere, I don't see an option to boot directly to fusee. What am I missing?
Thanks in advance!
While Kosmos is discontinued, that doesn't mean you should switch to vanilla Atmosphere. Kosmos isn't a CFW; its just Atmosphere with Hekate so if you update both, it will achieve the same effect as using Kosmos. Alternatively, there is a spiritual successor to Kosmos called DeepSea that although isn't made by the same team, continues the tradition of bundling Hekate, Atmosphere, and some homebrew apps. Either way, I don't understand why anyone would recommend switching to vanilla Atmosphere as you would lose out on one of the mos valuable tools in the Switch scene which is Hekate. Also the general rule is to always update your CFW before your firmware because newer CFW versions will always support older firmware versions but older CFW versions won't support newer firmware versions.Hi,
I have been running Kosmos/Hekate on emuNAND on my switch for a couple of years now. It works fine but my emuNAND is on firmware 9.1 and newer software does not run on it. Kosmos is discontinued and from what I've read it is better to switch to vanilla Atmosphere anyway.
Can anyone tell me how to switch over to atmosphere without losing any of my installed games? I think my setup is a bit of a mess after downloading various sigpatches and hacks to keep Kosmos running and stop blawar from detecting kosmos in tinfoil etc. Is it safe just to download Atmosphere over what I have at the moment? Should I update emuNAND firmware first or do the Atmosphere upgrade first?
Thanks
I don't see anywhere that the Switch supports xCloud. Anyway, there is always a chance of being banned when you hack a console; that's general common sense. Whether you will or will not get banned is up to chance so nobody can tell you for sure what will happen. If you stay offline, you will not get banned but staying offline achieves the same result as being banned meaning no online access.Hi, i want hack my switch because of getting xcloud on it.
Would i get banned for that?
Can i play online when hacked or not.
Or must always stay offline with the switch?

1. Where did you download your patches from? https://github.com/ITotalJustice/patches/releases
2. Not all places have the updated patches. Games don't need newer patches; new patches are only needed for firmware or CFW updates - Ok, so after trying three different files (nsp, xci, eshop etc), multiple installers and all result in corrupted data error when trying to launch the game, what else could it be for Dying Light?
3. What options do you see? When I was on v11, I could boot directly to fusee in Hekate. Now that menu is blank and I only see CFW SYSNAND, EMUEMC or whatever and SYSNAND Stock options. I don't need any features of the CFW/DeepSea, just want to boot to the main menu with no bells and whistles like I did on V11 firmware
1-2: Thank you -- I'll see if that makes a difference.
- Use the patches from this thread. I've never run into any issues when using these.
- I suspect the patches you downloaded weren't fully updated. The thread I linked above always has the latest patches
- So you were chainloading fusee from the Payloads menu or were you using a Launch option? Were you even using DeepSea before the update?
Well I'm not sure what happened to the fusee payload but you can download fusee.bin from the Atmosphere GitHub page and put it in the /bootloader/payloads folder so you can launch fusee again from the Payloads menu.1-2: Thank you -- I'll see if that makes a difference.
3. Fusee from the Payloads menu. Yes, whatever DeepSea version went along with v11.0.1 firmware

Hmm, seems like it is indeed possible but only through handheld mode. Regardless, if your plan is to simply use Android, then its impossible to get banned. Android runs exclusively from the SD card and doesn't touch the Switch's operating system, Horizon, so you have nothing to fear.I think i can install android os for xcloud
Ok nice. How does it works to switch between android and stock firmware?Hmm, seems like it is indeed possible but only through handheld mode. Ok, replaced sigs with yours and booted into fusee for Dying Light install and now all is good. Thanks D!Well I'm not sure what happened to the fusee payload but you can download fusee.bin from the Atmosphere GitHub page and put it in the /bootloader/payloads folder so you can launch fusee again from the Payloads menu.
I believe you'll have to reboot the console each time you want to switch.Ok nice. How does it works to switch between android and stock firmware?
I'm planning on doing this too and have bookmarked this guide, which has a section specifically for SD cards with a partition based emuMMC: https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/extras/transfer_sd/Going to moving to a larger SD card and got a quick question before it arrives.
Can I just copy paste everything on to the fresh SD card and have it working? I made an emunand partition for the current SD so I'm wondering if I just drag and drop will that work? Or will I need to make a fresh partition through hekate first, then copy files? ... or let the switch format it normally, make the partition, then copy/redo things manually?
I think you might want to edit out the name of that shop. Iv seen other post about the system date and mine is set to go off of the internet.
also, is there a way to get my saves from my switch light and use them on my og cfw switch ?
1) Remove shop name
2) Find a different shop
3) Only if you lite is modded afaik
8. But it's a glorious mess xDOn Smash Bros, what's the maximum number of (human) players you can have playing on one console?
