You lost me there, so I am going to go with no....
Sorry, didn’t want you to be lost.., can you post a screenshot of your sd card (root and subfolders of Atmosphere, especially contents)
Ok I don't know if this is allowed to be said, but I have to say it anyways lol. For some reason crysis remastered will not install on my switch, but I just installed Assassin's creed III remastered with no issues. For some reason only crysis is giving me grief.

So I’ve just set my switch up properly and I can’t get BOTW to launch for the life of me. I installed the game via tinfoil and jits, but no matter what I do the game will not open, giving me ‘the software was closed because an error occurred’ every single time. I’m on atmosphere 18.1 and the latest firmware, and have tried updating my sigpatches, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, installing as an xci...everything I can think of. This is the only game I’m experiencing this issue with - everything else runs fine. Anybody got any ideas?

As far as I can tell, yes, all my other back-ups run fine, ACIII installed with no issues. for some reason only Crysis is being a nuisance.
So, did you try another dump ? Are you using Reverse-Nxtool for overcloking ? Or a cheat Engine like Edizon ?

Yeah I have tried 2 different sources for a back-up of crysis and not using anything for overclocking or a cheat engine.

It is fine. Actually it works out for me because I'm about to go to sleep so if you don't mind taking over for me, I and jkirk would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for your help always drax.

What is the installer you use ? What is the error code ? Do you have Emuibo installed ?
On gold leaf I got this error.

"an error occurred attempting to install the NSP:
error 2002-4517(0x234A02)
Module Files System(2)
Description: Invalid NCA(might mean missing sigpatches or a too low firmware)(4517)

I attempted to install using NSUSBloader 5.0 and goldleaf 0.9. I am also up to date on my Firmware (11.0.1 and atm 18.1) I also tried to install using tinfoil off microsd and it would just say failed.

Give it a try with Tinwoo https://github.com/mrdude2478/TinWoo/releases/tag/1.0.1

@jkirk I gonna give a try on my switch, to install the game giving issue, and I will report. But can take some time as my internet is unstable.
Awesome, thanks for looking into that Maupiti. I am so confused why this game is having a hard time. I have tried so many ways to install lol.

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
