What is the error code?

Problem solved, I got mixed up and was using the BOOT0/BOOT1 from an older eMMC backup with the rawnand.bin from my most recent backup. I made sure I was using the right ones and it restored it through Hekate.

That being said, I've never performed an eMMC restore before and the backup I managed to restore was from a week or two ago. Will this raise any red flags to Nintendo?, and if so are there any ways to mitigate the risk?

If you were online before and after the restore then most likely yes. However once you've gone online, Nintendo already has all of the information sent to them in a flash and subsequently stored on their server.

I disconnected my router before booting the switch into the restored sysMMC so it hasn't been online yet, but all my games that were stored on my SD card now say "Some nescessary data could not be found. It will be downloaded now." when I try to boot them.

Hmm what if I was to factory reset my switch? Assuming all traceable data is wiped then everything should appear clean on Nintendo's end right? Although this could lead to a worst case scenario where I have a factory reset switch and am unable to access the eShop to redownload any of my games.

The Wii U had significantly less telemetry than the Switch. The Switch is also a lot more commercially successful so Nintendo will better protect it than they did with the Wii U.
Ok. So that’s why then. :/ it is a bit dumb because they will lose many because of that? I was always true to them. :/

No one can guarantee what a hacked user will and will not do. Most people who hack accept the fact that they will be banned because that has not changed for many years or for any device.

I've seen this error before but on official firmware. when I transferred user and account info to my animal crossing switch, it left the games still indexed on the original system. that error occurs when you try to load one of them. it means that the content for the game is missing. and, I think the latest available update that was installed is also indexed, so if that's missing, you'll probably get the same error. basically, if you had the same games installed but then installed an update, the indexer is probably looking for the appropriate update. I've found the update in nsp: 800 is always what an update title id ends with.

  1. Just use SDSetup and tick the box with the patches
  2. The patches for 10.X has not required any changes as of yet
  3. This is for people who manually download the patches separately from the CFW. If you use SDSetup, the patches and config files are pre-bundled reducing the headache

Sorry for the late reply.. life got busy.
Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. I was able to get it working now.

Are you booting your console out of RCM and sending the payload when its in RCM again?
i try to shutdown the switch by holding the power button for 12 secs, then rcm to payload

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to install a game and I'm getting NCA Verification failed for it.
I'm on 10.0.4 with Atmosphere 0.12.0. I have sig patches installed as well (I have the exefs_patches and kip_patches folders). Game was released last year, so I don't think I need newer patches or anything.

I've installed several games without issues, but for this one I always get that NCA Verification failure. I've tried different sources and either I get the NCA popup or a message the file is garbage basically. I've tried renaming the file as I've seen some posts mentioning that (although I'm still unsure if I believe that).

I don't want to set the Install Unsigned Code flag, any pointers?
Thanks a lot!
