Recently, I have been working on Switch-OC-Suite just for personal use. I have been contemplating whether it is okay to release it after the original project being taken down. I believe that even if oc-suite is dangerous, users should still be given the choice, so I decided to release it here.

Although I have fixed visible errors, the code was not originally developed by me and may contain...

Only some points:

Sys-Clock nor sys-tweak do work on latest firmware also some few others sysmodule.

The battery drain on sleep mode, for this there are a couple of workarounds.

Once you upgrade to latest firmware, you can not downgrade because the user partition is converted to a «new format» or new layout, no compatible with previous firmware

I see. I updated to the latest and it seems like it's shutting off after a while in sleep mode. I guess a new sys-clock update is on the steps. Surely they'll be able to fix this? I open Ultrahand and try to enable sys-patch and it's toggled for a couple of seconds only to toggle back off again. It's broken?

If I care to downgrade, I still have nand backups from way back. Can't I just do that?

That is the way SYS-Patch works, it run change some values on memory and then stop, is not a TSR program just an autorun one.

That is the only way to downgrade, restoring a previous backup.

well i dont use sys tweak i do use sys clock and sys clock seems to work fine for me im on fw 20.50 with ams 1.9.5 i use ultrahand overlay to access

I’ve been super out of the loop with Switch hacking scene and I was gonna ask if updating Atmosphere files on Switch SD and updating the system firmware through Nintendo’s server was still an ok way to update your Switch.

But reading through the last comments it seems like a bad idea to update Switch to the latest firmware? I don’t understand exactly why but I’ll trust you on that and avoid updating.

I last used my switch when TOTK came out so I was hoping to update to play some newer games.

People don't refer others to "HATS" around here? That's what I used. Got rid of all my old folders and dragged the new stuff over.

I do not recommend to use a prepackaged package, because you do not know what is on it and if suits your configuration. is better to upgrade each item by yourself.

There are problems with HATS with firmware 20.x.x due to the less memory certain games like pokemon won't run if people don't know about the less memory and how to remove like mission control and salty NX.

I’ll move any further questions to that thread when I sit down to actually do it.

But skimming it seems that it’s preferred to use Daybreak and not Nintendo’s own system update. Is that correct?

I’ve always had everything on SysNAND and I’m happy to learn you can back it up. Does that protect you from potential bricking or is it more to just redo some changes?
Since it’s been so long I think I want to swap to running an EmuNAND to avoid any potential bricks. Is there a guide on how to make one that I can use?

This is true because you need to maintain «non saint» *NAND away from ninja Servers.

On clean *NANDs you can use Ninja servers without problem.

If is you SysNAND and is clean the backup is only last resort on brick, because once you recover a backup is mostly sure you will be banned.

For creating a EmuNAND use Hekate, Hekate can create a backup of your NAND to a set of files, and then that files should be moved (after create a backup on a safe place) to «SDMC:/emuMMC/SD00/eMMC\» then copy «SDMC:/Nintendo» folder to «SDMC:/emuMMC/SD00/Nintendo» and then use Hekate to enable that EmuNAND.

i get error code 2155-8007 every time i try to launch a game. i read in a different post its because the switch try to connect to nintendo servers. anyway i tried both deleting the wifi (meaning its on but not connected) and flightmode to launch games, but then it says i must be online. how can i go through this?
firmware 20.5.0, atmosphere 1.9.5, unpatched
