Use FAT32. exFAT on the Switch is not recommended because it can corrupt your SD card and there are numerous workarounds for files larger than 4 GiB with FAT32.

Stock emuMMC is booting emuMMC without CFW. Hekate has a Stock mode which is normally for sysMMC. This mode is very similar to OFW except it bypasses the fuse check. The reason it is disabled is because it is currently not functional.

Good to know. Would there be any other reason why emuMMC wouldn't be working for me? I followed the NH Switch guide closely and I retried the steps a few times to try getting it to work. But it always just booted me back to Hekate.

I honestly do not know. I can recommend either making your own thread on this forum or joining the Atlas-NX Discord Server.

It should still be possible for you to install the .NSP file via USB install if you can get the SD card inserted into your computer. Unless this is your only SD card and it has all of your CFW on it...?

I do not recommend using Goldleaf as it is too buggy for my tastes. My personal setup involves Aluminum Foil on the PC with Tinfoil as the homebrew application. There is a link to Tinfoil on the Aluminum Foil Github page.

You should keep your emuNAND on 8.1.0 until Atmosphere is updated to support 9.0.0.

I use Goldleaf for a long time now and never had any issues. Not with goldleaf nor goldtree. Maybe you should try the latest version?

While maybe you personally have never run into any issues, I have seen it happen all too many times both on this site and via Discord. Also I think you quoted the wrong person for trying the latest version.

I just wanted to check: how likely is it that they are going to come out with an untethered version of CFW? And, is using a dongle the only way to get a CFW onto your switch at the moment?
