Like banning/being caught by nintendo. Normally I transfer my nsp files from computer to sd card and install them with goldleaf. But since hbgshop needs wifi I'm not so sure if it is safe however I allready used incognito rcm for my Emummc

It is possible to downgrade a patched 4.1.0 Switch to 4.0.0-4.0.1 (they all have a fuse count of 5), but this is not recommended, and there would be no reason to do so.

It is not possible to downgrade a patched Switch on 5.0.0 or higher without a modchip installed, and you would not be able to downgrade to anything lower than the expected fuse count. For example, a patched Switch on 10.0.4 cannot downgrade to anything below 10.0.0 if it has a fuse count of 13. With a modchip, there would also be no reason to do so, and it is not recommended.

So i successfully updated my switch with ChoiDujourNX to FW 9.1 . I downloaded the Reinx files from here , the top one release V3. I replaced the old files (hbmenu.nro, Reinx folder, reinx.bin and sept folder) with the newly downloaded ones on my SD card. I opened up Ns Atmosphere programmer and injected the Reinx.bin (from the same downloaded files) payload into the Ns-Atmosphere injector. Now the Switch won't boot anymore like it did before on 8.1

Did i do something wrong? If so, can i start over and what would be the recommended way? Thanks in advance!

Is your SD card FAT32, or is it exFAT?

When you installed the 9.1 update, you likely installed it without exFAT support, so now Horizon cannot read your SD card after you boot the OS using the RCM payload. You have two options:
    1. Backup the contents of your SD card, reformat it as FAT32, and restore the contents of your SD card. This option is recommended, since exFAT has a much higher liklihood of corruption issues.
    2. Use a different SD card formatted as FAT32 to reinstall the 9.1 update with exFAT support.

Thats strange because when i used ChoiDujour to update to 9.1, in the process it asked if i wanted to update with or without Exfat support and i chose with exfat support (option on the right of the screen at the time).

Do you still recommend trying the steps you mentioned just to make sure?

ChoiDujourNX is touchscreen only, so it's possible you tapped the wrong thing by mistake. Try my steps. I would also recommend doing the following as a matter of troubleshooting:
    1. Make an eMMC backup with Hekate if you haven't already. Make sure you at least backup eMMC SYS and BOOT0/1. Store your backup somewhere safe.
    2. Remove all CFW files/folders from your SD card (that would be folders like /sept/ and /atmosphere/)
    3. Make sure your SD card is formatted as FAT32.
    4. Download the latest Atmosphere
    5. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere)
    6. Download these signature patches
    7. Put Atmosphere and the signature patches onto your SD card
    8. Put the SD into your Switch
    9. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary

Its about as safe as using 90DNS or SX OS' Stealth Mode.

HELLO I am new to homebrew/modding I have a question regarding animal crossing new horizons!!! I really want to move my bulletin board of make multiple to give to my clean switch. Is there a way of doing this? I have been messing with the map but I see no options, though I have seen discussions where people were able to move the green bench from townhall when townhall is still a tent. I feel like the option should be there and probably is but I am just not seeing it. Please help <3

Out of sheer curiosity, is the fuse count on a factory switch zero before first boot?

Depend on the firmware it comes with, 1.0.0 has 1 burn fuse.

It's been a while since I've touched my Switch. I'm using SX OS 2.9.2 with Emunand 8.1. Is it possible or safe to update to the latest firmware (10.0.4)?

You need to update your CFW, but after you do that, yes, it is safe to update to 10.0.4.

Hello, this is my first post here and I have some questions about what can I do avoid having my console banned in my current situation.

First I bought a hacked Nintendo Switch with SXOS Pro (Jig+dongle) with a firmware version of 9.1.0 around mid april this year. The seller was really open about it and told me that he had the console for a while and explained that the console was not banned. So I asked him to record some videos of him acessing Eshop and connecting to nintendo servers, which he did, it worked fine and then I bought the console.

When the console arrived (he did a factory reset when he sent me) I followed his instructions to enable Airplane mode as soon as I could and my switch has been COMPLETELY OFFLINE ever since I bought it.

I finished the Nintendo user setup, then proceeded to install SXOS with a couple of XCI and NSP games to test the CFW (on my SysNAND). After at least a week using CFW on the SysNAND I discovered that it was highly recommended that I saved a backup of my sysNAND as soon as possible. So I saved the first backup of my SysNAND that I still have to this day (hopefully clean).

Until now I have been always using a 128gb SDcard with CFW on the SysNAND and I still have NEVER been online since I bought this console. So I bought a 256gb SDcard to make an EmuNAND and if all goes well I'll format my 128gb card to use it with the official firmware to play online.

Even though I'm aware that I might get banned after all this, I still want to make my SysNAND as clean as possible before I try to go online for the first time so I'm looking for the safest method to do so:

1- Do I restore the first backup I made, then proceed to run Haku33 with a factory reset to wipe it clean and then check if I'm able to go back online without trigerring a ban?

2- Do I restore the backup without wiping it clean with Haku33, erasing the few NSP/XCI games that might still be linked to that user? (I'm almost 100% sure that I never installed any nsp/xci anything on the actual SysNAND storage back then, but I have definitely installed some games on the SDcard using this SysNAND before I made the backup)

3- Is there any other option that you guys could suggest for me to clean this SysNAND backup to go back online?

I wish I knew all this before I bought this console, but I guess we all have to start somewhere.

I hope all goes well and thanks for the support!

Your NAND backup was made after you installed pirated games, so it is far from clean and is useless to you at this time. You should keep the backup in case of a software brick, but you don't need to do anything with it right now.

It might be impossible for you to actually clean your NAND. The best you can do right now is something like running Haku33, but you should understand that you still might be banned.

Yes I understand that the nand NAND was probably dirty regardless since I'm sure the previous owner had installed CFW and played some games before I bought the switch.

But still wasn't banned by the time I asked him to do the tests.

Hell I'm even aware that I might get banned just by asking him to test it back then.

But still, I've been reading about haku33 and I'm confused because some people claimed that it might erase some error codes/files that could also trigger the ban hammer eventually.

So facing this situation, what would be the safest move from now on?

Since this console console is yet to go back online after all this.

Also, thanks for the quick response

    Edit: words.

You're pretty much guaranteed a ban if you get online with a NAND that has had pirated titles installed to it. Without a clean NAND backup, the safest option would be to use Haku33, but for the reasons you've already mentioned, there is no guarantee it will work.

Thanks again! That's the awnser I have been looking for, I was getting ready to restore the backup and run Haku33 before I made this post but I wasn't sure that was the safest way to go.

I'll do the tests and report the results later, either here or at the Nintendo Switch Banning Hub & Warning thread.

    Have a nice day! :b
