I got the same error message using a traxdata 4GB USB flash drive. I tried reformatting it but the problem wasn't resolveable. I just switched to another flash drive, a cruzer with 8GB space, and it worked just fine. It also worked when I tried an attache 2GB some time ago.rednano12 said:rednano12 said:Hm... I got an error when trying to dump. It can't read the filesystem on my SD card. It is formatted in FAT32. Any ideas?
Shameless bump.
Also, no, unless you do something really stupid (delete all IOS or something like that) the chance of you bricking your Wii is slim to none.

i had no problems using superdump in the past, however, i get this error at 99% when trying to dump "zack & wiki".fogbank said:MFDC12 said:all my games dump to 99%, even the ones with no scratches :/
any ideas?
If you have a modchip installed (particularly a Cyclowiz or Wasabi) this may be the cause. Are you getting "Error reading sector data" messages at 99%?
It seems that these modchips may be preventing the Wii from reading the last few sectors of the disc when using disc dumping apps. This is not 100% confirmed, but I have experienced this issue and I have come to the conclusion that it is my Wasabi Zero that is causing it.

i got it from the video rental store but i can't see any blemishes on the surface.emupaul said:is the disc scratch free and no thumbprints?, never experienced any problems with superdump my self but most if not all my discs are perfect condition.

Whatever, I'm just letting you guys know there's a new version...Kafei said:i recently installed the cIOS38 rev14, might that be the problem?
I would not trust the file AerialX linked :\AerialX said:Note: cIOS r13 is recommended since r14 may have issues dumping
Yes, that is the problem. It's usually not an issue since most discs don't necessarily need the last few sectors, but it's a problem with r14.
