I think version 2.0 of the Dynamic SD Loader was released recently. Is that going to be included in an update later on?

Edit: Nevermind, I think that SD Loader and the one in this .gct are different.

It'll get released soon. If you didn't watch the video, here's what happened: you can install HBC with an SD card.

I believe 4.0 users can use it too. No more Brawl+ is too hard to install excuses. If you don't install it for Brawl+, install it for infinite time and no tripping at least!

So yeah, the new gecko os is out. It's not neccessarily required because we have the double .gct method available which still has a lot of room. But the thing is, brkich (creator of the new gecko os), doesn't plan to release the source code out so we probably won't be seeing it merged with a backup launcher.

Gecko os boots back ups, but you have to have cisocorp installed on your wii
(if you don't use cisocorp, I think you can patch the game to use Ios 249 if your using waninkoko's cIos 249)

That's great news, does that mean I can use the latest B+ codeset with my backup? I had to stick with using 3.3B..

It should, as its working for me. Just make sure you get cisocorpV2 from the MiiWii thread.

4.0 or 4.1 beta uses a double .gct. You boot it with regular Gecko OS, so that'd still work for you if you use Gamma Backup Loader. The main .gct file is under 256 lines which allows it to start and then the same .gct has a code which redirects it to another .gct file. This allows us to have more than 256 lines.

So do I need to download gecko 2.0 to play it or how should I do it? I got an older Gecko version with the #002 fix.

Edit: Ok found out how to do it ^.^ It´s so awesome

how is this working with two .gct files?
I don't know what to do, I tried to follow the guide, but I don't know, which gcts are meant...
I hope someone could explain shorty, how to get all 256 lines to work...

If you're a pal user, you're gonna have to wait a bit for 4.0 to come out. papra_killer from smashboards is working on it. Sorry I couldn't respond sooner. I've been very busy lately.

The 1kb .gct file goes in the codes folder.
The bigger .gct file goes in the pf folder.

It works cause the 1kb .gct is under 256 lines. But there's a code inside that redirects it to another file which allows thousands of more lines.

is it be possible to make tiles in the background for the level editor with this?

and are unusable characters like alloys usable?
