I'm a decent way through super mario rpg and am now at the marrymore level (where the church is located). But when i go to try to push through the first door i cant get it open. i googled this problem and appearently a lot of other users have the same issue. Any idea on what button combo is needed to do this. I've read timing is important, but i dont get what buttons need to be pressed.

Isn't that when you have to run into the door at the same time as bowser?

Yeah its slightly difficult. Your timing has to be exactly on.

If you're trying to get into the building at all, you have to walk in through the side-back door first.

In order to bust down the first door when inside, you need to be running, not walking.

I made it through the backdoor and am now at the stage where i have to time my running at the same time with the enemy. Do I just press Y or B while moving the analog stick forward? I know it seems like an easy issue, but for some reason its fairly difficult. Seems like an odd task for a platforming game (made all the more difficult since its not in 3D).
