HELP! I can't breathe, I need air, OXYGEN! or maybe an update on what's going on with SN Monogatari. Please tell me our heroes are safe, please tell me they're still out there, living, breathing, and working on SN Monogatari, the salvation of all these people dying to play. Please, oil_, Pablitox, TheZu, TLZ, and everyone else out there, you're our only hope. For the future of mankind, for the progress of humanity, for eternal peace, for every aspiring craftlord out there, we need you, the world needs you. Continue, live on, progress, evolve, and together we shall conquer, and prosper, WE SHALL PREVAIL!

PS. I'm not trying to rush you or anything, just words of encouragement, also, it's been a few days since the last update on the project, just checking, hoping, praying, begging if you will, that it's still up and running. More power guys. I know not of the future, but sure is this, with the good is the force, with you is the force.

Sorry the absence, been quite busy with uni and still am. As for percentages the did not change, mind there's only a few people doing the trimming and they are as busy as i am, so it will take it's sweet time to finish, unless we get some help

Your English is good enough that you could potentially voluntarily go ahead and do some trimming to see how it goes. The worst that's gonna happen is that I'm not satisfied with it and prod you.

If by trimming, you mean, paraphrasing, rewording, editing, proofreading and stuff, then I'll try. Just tell me what to do. I'm not good with the whole techy process though.

    Sidenote:
Yeah, got praised for being good in English! Go Filipinos, we're really good with the whole English thing.(I hope you guys aren't racist)

Nope, not yet, they said there's still trimming to be done, although I'm not entirely sure what that means, but I do trust that they'll finish this.
    Soon, I believe.

So the complete translation of the game by a team consisting of two, three or four tops, regular translators and a whole slew of random contributors is worth less than 10% of the finished product to you?

Trimming includes precisely all those wonderful aspects Aeron listed up there. The game limits the amount of symbols/characters that fit within each sentence, so you have to shorten and reword shit all over the place. The process is very simple though. Look at the number on the left, write your stuff, check if the number on the right is equal to or lower than the number on the left, and click save.

I'd just like to say that I'm really happy this translation is being made, and I can't wait to play it translated.

I was thinking about seeing if I could help with the trimming, and now seeing how it's as simple as proofreading and shortening text, I'd gladly offer to help! Seeing how English is my only language and all.

Okay, since it seems we're going to get some new trimmers soon, let me give you some tips.

Zu will get angry if you use chatspeak in trimmed lines; using an apostrophe in certain situations will break how the line is counted, giving you a -1 which cannot be saved, but hopefully oil_ will fix that soon; since the script is out of order and doesn't include who's speaking, if you're confused over things like whether the scene or speaker has changed or the tentative context of the scene or if the line just flat-out confuses you, just ask in the chat and someone will help you unless everyone is sleeping or doing things in other windows/tabs.

Also, the chat is often full of silliness, random youtube links, and spoilers for various other Summon Night games. Secret identities should be kept secret. Occasionally, we talk about how hungry we are.

Where do you chat on this thing? Aside from this forum page of course.

Well, looks like I stirred something up, so I have to take responsibility. Now then, where can I find those that needs to be trimmed?
