[Completed Translation] Time Travelers

time_travelers_logo.png
After 8 years of research and translation, we can finally present you our final patch for the english fan translation of "Time Travelers" by Level5 on the 3DS.

We went through some years of stagnation and burnout. The team changed and got smaller. But we persevered, invested months over months in quality control, and now we're proud to release it!

The package you download is an app to apply the patch file to a .3ds or .cia version of the game. You're required to get your own decrypted dump of the game.
The app will create a Luma3DS LayeredFS-ready folder with all the necessary files in it. You just have to move that folder to the correct Luma3DS folder on your SD card.

Content

This patch contains the entire main story. However, there is post-game content which we did not include in this patch.
It was not our goal to translate the post-game content, and given how long this project already took, we decided to not pursue this further for now.

However, it's not impossible that the post-game content will be released at one point.

As for what you would miss out on: The post-game content is a kind of life-sim with the main heroine of "Time Travelers" to get to know her better and the world.

Documentation

If you're interested in creating a translation of this game for another language, we will document and give access to every tool we used/created and provide access to all our working files. Read up on everything here. [Work In Progress]

I am so happy right now. I have literally been lurking this place for years just for some new info about this translation.. I also literally bought a hacked my 3DS some years ago just for this game, waiting patiently all this time. I have played TT to some extent in Japanese, and it rocks. It is pure awesomeness! And now it's in English! Thanks for making this dream come true, you are truly gods among men. May life smile to you from now on 'til forever.

i stuck on enter the directory , in which the layeredFS structure will be created i dont know what to do
The patch has to be written somewhere on your computer. Just put any directory there. Like your Desktop, or something.

The application then creates you a LayeredFS-ready folder structure, as per the instructions.

Is this compatible with Lime3DS/Citra? I was able to create the patch, but putting the contents into the mods folder for the game in those emulators does not seem to make any changes to the game. Charging up my 2DS now so I can try it over there, though.

EDIT: It does work on the 2DS.

It is compatible with emulators, just not as straightforward as on 3DS hardware.

Version 1.1 of the patch is up here,

It fixes the issue with double spacing in most dialogs and menus. This was an earlier version of the patch with last minute changes, that somehow slipped through.

Version 1.2 of the patch is up here.

It just fixes TimePatchApply to work properly with CIA's now.
It also made error messages and handling more readable and clear.

great, i like fan translations more than official ones, because they're usually genuinely loyal to the original material, unlike official ones where they localize, change cultures, and add non sense stuff.

Pretty cool, my DAW (MPC 2,0) has whats called "Stem Separation". It will take any sample and split the sample into different tracks and filter sounds, example: Will separate to 4 tracks, 1 for bass, 1 for vocals, 1 for drums, 1 for rest. https://www.akaipro.com/stems.html
