Hi, I was booting to UnleashX to delete some folders that couldn't be deleted using XBMC and initially booting back to XBMC was working fine. However, after trying to boot unleashx.xbe from the E: Drive again, the machine froze. I then shut down the system and tried to switch it on again. It then booted to the Xbox logo with the Evo X icon at the top left and froze there.

Pressing the disc eject button now just causes the green ring to flash but the tray is no longer ejecting. Whatever that was deleted also caused the Disc drive to stop working.

Things I have tried:
Cleared C and E and copied a clean C and E folder - Freezes
Copied Hazeno's C and E folders - Freezes
Copied XBMC4Gamers folder to E - Freezes
Copied XBMC4Gamers folder to E:\Dash - Freezes
Renamed default.xbe in XBMC4Gamers to evodash.xbe and pasted it in C, E, E:\XBMC4Gamers and E:\Dash\XBMC4Gamers - Freezes

Anything else I could try? My device is hardmodded and I'm using Fatxplorer to access my Harddrive.

Unfortunately whatever I deleted also disabled the DVD drive. Currently it is non-functional, I can force it open but I closing it doesn't initialize it, tried power cycling and everything.

I can access the Hard Drive using FatXplorer on my PC so I can copy files to it. Is it possible to copy the contents of the Slayer CD to it? If so which directly should I copy it to?

I also found a x2config.ini file in my E drive. In it there are these lines:

; 255 characters max here, format is <drive>:<path_to_xbe>.xbe, e.g. "f:dashes\avalaunch.xbe"

dash1Name = c:evoxdash.xbe
dash2Name = e: Dash\UnleashX\unleashx.xbe
dash3Name = e: Dash\EvolutionX\evoxdash.xbe
dash4Name = c:xbmc.xbe
dash5Name = c:xboxdash.xbe

Are these the boot order of the dashboards?

Don't have a copy of the C drive from before the mod though, although I do have a copy of the C drive untouched since the error (Didn't delete anything on it as far as I know). I tried a clean C drive copied from the Hexen folder but that didn't work either. The system seems to be looking for a file in the E drive but is unable to find it. The one time I did manage to boot Hexen from disk I thought I fixed it but now the drive is no longer working so not sure what else I could try.

Do you think the BIOS itself may have become corrupted?
