I'm currently working on a project focused on researching and restoring the cancelled DLC content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for the Wii U.
The Wii U port of BO2 never received any of the DLC unlike the rest of platforms. However, during research (using IDA + some datamining to the game fastfiles), several DLC-related files and references were found inside the game and its updates, suggesting that some of this content was at least partially integrated or in development.
So far, these are the main discoveries and progress:
The current goal is to restore the missing DLC content and make it playable on Wii U, including maps such as:
At the moment, the biggest challenge is the lack of people familiar with Call of Duty / IW Engine formats, especially:

- Found multiple DLC-related files and references inside the Wii U version.
- Successfully ported part of the Nuketown Zombies audio and got the map to reach the loading screen. (Crashing there cause there's no fastfiles, but at least it tries to load)
- Managed to get some DLC IPAK files to load and extract/convert some textures from the PC version of the game to the Wii U one (Map selector textures)
- Confirmed that Wii U uses a similar structure to other BO2 versions, but with platform-specific differences that need to be researched.
The current goal is to restore the missing DLC content and make it playable on Wii U, including maps such as:
- Nuketown Zombies
- Die Rise
- Probably the Multiplayer DLC maps if there is interest
At the moment, the biggest challenge is the lack of people familiar with Call of Duty / IW Engine formats, especially:
- Fastfiles (.ff)
- Asset conversion between platforms (our main concern right now are the techsets and the shaders)
- Wii U reverse engineering
- Black Ops 2 Modding
