The other day (like week ago) I also said "asterix" by accident instead of Asterisk

and zeur reminded me. But then again he did say he prefers to say "splat"...or that I can say "star" too

You want to know what pisses me off?
When people misspell the past tense of "lead" (as in "I'm going to lead you to the pond") - it's L - E - D. Led. "He led them astray" or "They have led you to the river". There's no 'a' in it!

Speaking of 'led', the fact that it's an initialism instead of an acronym is also annoying - we say OLED as a word, right? Why not say LED as a word too‽ Ugh.
