What I'm thinking is that it's loading 10.2 firm, so if I get a 9.2 compatible firm the exploit should work

@democracy and @jackb994 sorry to tag you but as you obviously have things working on arm9 can you confirm that the reinand build you use is simply 3.2 from https://github.com/Reisyukaku/ReiNand/releases along with the arm9loaderhax.bin Rei posted? No other modifications? Cheers

What do you mean by standard? I've got a sysnand only partition, no emunand, on 9.2 and installed the arm9 hack. Afterwards black screen, which indicates a brick. As we cannot see any output though during boot after arm9 patch I was just curious if something else needed to be done with Rei before it would boot.

If you've got no emunand use the other arm9loaderhax.zip one the one rei didn't post a couple pages back then setup aureinand with ntr firmware.bin and then it should boot. Then wait until more progress is made on the arm9loaderhax bins

Thanks. Also thanks to @Raugo it seems I am not bricked, but I've failed to setup Reinand correctly to boot via arm9 into sysnand. Which is what you've been trying to help me do jackb994.

He got me to download this file https://gbatemp.net/threads/arm9loader-technical-details-and-discussion.408537/page-46#post-6085057 and my 3DS shuts down fine meaning the arm9 install has gone okay.

install fbi.cia through fbi on home brew launcher and then Try and install nver to nand

Thanks again jack but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, still can't get Rei to boot on N3DS arm9 sysnand. Will wait and see if @Shadowtrance is around over the next day or two to walk an idiot through setting this arm9 bin and correct Rei files up for sysnand 9.2.

I have his arm9loaderhax.bin, it's just the right build of Rei I need.

Quick question about this cfw. Does it support playing the gba virtual console games? I know that rxTools does, and gateway does only if you have it installed both to the sysnand and emunand while they are linked, but this my preferred cfw so I'd much rather use this with gba games if at all possible. Thanks for taking the time to help out a noob like me.
