The best would be if there was some kind of autostart cia feature that just starts freemultipatcher once emunand loads. That combined with a fork that exits immediately and you'll have region free reinand.

Maybe Nintendo will be so kind as to drop such a feature on us someday (fat chance). :P

Is there a reason this would only work for N3DS and not the O3DS? just wondering? :) it has my interest as I am using rxTools right now but I like how reinand sounds but I only have the O3DS at the moment lol

Rei just hasn't added code for it yet. If you'd like a version of it for O3DS, there's a fork/mod of Reinand by Aurora Wright in this same subforum, but you might have to look back one or two pages to find it. Keep in mind the mod isn't official, so support for it will have to be asked for in its respective thread.

Is there a way to run GBA injects on this? I'm running it on my New3DS, 9.2 sysnand and 10.4 emunand. I installed the GBA cia's and patched AGB_firm to both sys and emu nands, but I only get a black screen when running them

Are you installing the GBA game CIAs to SD?

Last edited by RocketRobz,
probably will release it in a bigger update since i moved a lot of stuff around to make life easier for when changing firm binaries. (i.e i now patch sdmmc struct into emunand.bin because im gonna write code that auto-locates it.)

BIGGER UPDATE?! :O

maybe integrated region free on .cias and carts? *wink wink*

seriously, reinand + full region free will be the best thing since pancakes. i'd have no reason to use any other firmware if this happens!

GW seems to have always launched on the latest available firm. Even stock O3DS 4.5 launches a 10.4 FIRM
"Stock" 4.5 launches 10.4 FIRM? No.

But BootNTR auto-exits! A reason alone to stay with NTR. :P
Until someone does it, I'm sticking with NTR. Besides, I use NTR for langemu, cheats, setting CPU clock, I only have FMP for future update blocking.
Guys, FMP already auto-exits after applying patches...

Cell9 already said on github....
So basically, atm if you want to use NTR, don't use 10.4 Native Firm.

Problem is all the CFWs are updating to 10.4, staying on 10.2 doesn't matter so much now, but as development progresses on the CFWs, we're going to want to update at some point.

That said, I think CakesFW allows you to simply swap out your firmware.bin to change between versions.

Has the missing rei string been fixed?
and also include to increase how many second the splash screen shows...
because most of the time splash screen shows fast like .01 miliseconds... how bout 1 or half seconds so we have adequate time to enjoy seeing our custom splash screen?
thanks

its a curse and a blessing of the n3ds faster speeds

this is kinda confusing... where can I find the 3dsx files and the other needed files to run reiNand? seems the github only has the source code, right?
