Sonic And The ….. Coming Soon According To Sega Rep

Destructoid has learned that Sega is planning to bring out another of the Sonic and the… games sometime later this year. We’ve already had Sonic and the Secret Rings and Sonic and the Black Knight on the Wii, and hopefully we’re getting another one. Seeing as Wii owners have missed on Sonic Generations, this will no doubt come as a welcomed surprise. Apparently Sega are looking to make the games into a trilogy. Any guesses on the next games title?[/p]

TBH even though I don`t like the mission-like approach of SatSR I though the game was very enjoyable. The tilt-controls were spot on (with a little customization) and if they make it to a level-based game I think it could be a great game!

Also even though SatBK was not very good most of the time when I see videos of people playing it I always think they`re playing it badly, like they don`t get how it is played. I thought it wasn`t as bad as people tend to say but SR was definitely better with its tilt controls.

So when I see what they did with Sonic 4 and Sonic Colours I think you can clearly see that SEGA learns from their past mistakes so this could definitely be on par!

But what are xou guys thinking will Sonic venture into next: We got the Arabian nights and medieval time. I hope it`s going to be something obscure again, since that`s the whole point of this story-book games...

Sonic & the Secret Rings - (loosely) based on Arabian Nights
Sonic & the Black Knight - (loosely) based on Medieval Knights

So, I would guess it'll be based on another famous type of Book with something to do with 'knights/nights'........


(Hee Hee - I've done a Google & found there's a book called 'The Black Knight returns' - mind you though it's based on Batman)

'7 Trials/Voyages' could be seven different 'zones/island' to play through & in Sonic there's 7 Chaos Emeralds....

The other two games featured Arabian and Medieval themes I wonder what will be next...
(Maybe Sonic and the Great Scientist, if it is called Sonic and the Great Scientist I think the scientist will try to find out how Sonic is so fast)
