Hacking Some more details on the new AK2.

Anyway, after everyone was WHOPEE on the new AK that has better build design, I got some more AK's to look at.

Alright. I sent the AK team an email for replacement, the usual emails come by, I wait three weeks (Chinese new year) and the AK team sends me a replacement AK. Let's count how many.

Improvements from the previous AK2.1.

1. Fits better - noticeabally less thick.
2. Some plastic between pcbs.
-The left and right PCB have plastic inbetween them. Are they special?

3. Obviously more stable.

Things unchanged.

1. The popping noise is still there when you stick it in.
2. Still not a perfect fit.

Also.

1. Load time... noticeabally slower.
2. Looks a lot like the R4DS ultra.

Yes many of the new carts suffer from this, the first few original batch ak2s i have fit fine but anything after that clicks into my dsphat and requires even more force to get into my dsi, still nothing too bad.

Oh, thats not cool at all! Well I'd rather have to deal with that than have to take my MicroSDCard In and out of my AK and take my AK in and out of my DS in order for it to work... My brother started pushing it in and out like 22 times and that is the result..

one of my test cards (black pcb) stopped making the click into the grab arm all of a sudden. the other cards (2 other black pcb) still make the sound. my ak2 *fixed* and rpg do not make the sound.

In the second back-to-back pics, that's what my Acekard looks like, it just has a black circle to the right with an "i" in it... isn't the AK2i supposed to be white.

No, the 2i is black I think. The only card that the AK team made that is white is the original Acekard.

Will this Acekard 2.1 work with the GBAtemp uscheat.dat file? Narin's post stated: Acekard RPG/2. Im new to this kart so i am making sure before i purchase.

I think the AK 2.1 works with both .DAT and .XML cheats.
