I am having trouble updating some of my games that were converted to install-able format. Most of my games whether I am launching them from their original disk or installed can tell if there is an update and download/install it. However, I can into five games that did not. I checked and there are apparently updates for them on Nintendo's servers. I even removed the DNS update-block just to be safe, but it can't tell that there are updates available.
So I tried just manually installing the updates myself.... but this didn't seem to work. The updates installed, but when I launched the games, while most of them didn't have a way of telling you, I noticed that one of them which does have a version number was still saying version 1.0. The five games are:
Tokyo Mirage Sessions - Says Version 1.0
Kirby - Don't see a way to check version
Devil's Third - Don't see a way to check version
Mario Party 10 - Don't see a way to check version
Mario and Sonic 2016 - - Don't see a way to check version
Any idea why it would not update? Are the updates maybe only for a specific region of the game or something? Or is there some special procedure to installing updates manually to get them to work?
