Sorry if this is not a post related to "open translation"... but I was thinking maybe this is a problem related to some bug in the translation patch???

but has anyone had problem with the characters in the save file?
My game only saves the first character... any other character in rank 2 up til 8 are "disabled". Games don't save under 2-8. Only the first char saves!!! I save the game under 64K.

Before this happened, I haven't turned off the DS for 3 days (I kept it plugged). When I save and return to title, all my chars are still there.
The char deletion ONLY happens when I turn off my DS.

Any heads up?

well this is rather normal when someone saves under wrong savetype , this game should be saved under Eeprom - 512 kbit

New to the forum. Registered to see if I can get help with my problem. I downloaded an unpatched, untrimmed, rom and dropped it onto the patching file(drop rom here.bat) waited for it to patch, closed out the patcher, and put the game onto a 2GB SD Card into my R4. The game just lags and loads up either a black or white screen for an indeterminable amount of time. I tried the original rom and it works fine, it's just the patched rom that won't load. Did I patch it wrong? Should I have hit a key to continue instead of just closing the patcher? Does it make any difference that I took the patched rom and dropped it onto my Mac's desktop(I did the patching on a PC)? Please help, I really, REALLY, want to play this game in english.

I think the process closes by itself, so you should wait for the whole thing to finish on his own instead of closing the window just after some arbitrary time. It may take a while o translate the whole thing, I think the final dimension of the file (translated), if I recall correctly, is 122Mb or something like that. Check and see if it's the same.... :3

I have to agree with you Haruhi a thread for a project with this much effort put into it just doesn't deserve to be spammed with this crap like this. There's got to be some way to make it harder for these irritants to get in....

Morgawr: Thanks for the reply. I'll try patching it again and see if it closes automatically(my keyboard is broken for the PC). The patched ROM I have is roughly 122MB as well, but trying again can't hurt. Again any help is greatly appreciated and, as a side note, thanks to DarthNemisis for his hard work on this project. I honestly could never do something like this, so it's nice to know that there are people who not only can, but are willing to do so.

The "drop ROM here" file is a commandline script. If your "Administrator" has disabled your command prompt, you should contact him....

Start>Search Box>type: cmd

Now look UP. You will see the cmd in the area above. This is where you want
to right-click and choose "run as Administrator".

it is a full translation already if you dont count the additional infos about characters(i think no one reads this anyway) , so theres no point in translating more .

I always read them! I agree that the the game is entirely playable as it is, but I always read the additional text because it's what gives the storyline depth. I'm one of those people who read through game manuals before playing a new game. I just don't like missing out on little details I suppose.

I was wondering if anyone can help me. Im having a tough time getting my G6 lite to run it. I downloaded the 6rz-sbj.nds then dropped that into the patcher and it makes a patch version fine. Just when i throw it on my G6 it never plays all i get is a black or white screen of death. Can anyone possibly tell me where im going wrong? i would be overjoyed if anyone can help me cause im desperate to play this

Great job with the translation. Ive noticed one typo... Cant remember where tho.
