Maybe it makes sure your magic doesn't miss, although I never se a magic miss in the first place (like physical attack that is, your weapon collides, but the word miss appears, when my magic hits it always hits, if not then it doesn't collide)

Heh... I guess this is something that needs to be fixed. The description is terribly vague, and the ability data doesn't help much either. No one can tell what the move does...

And thus, I wanna ask: how do you fix it? You don't even know what it is!

Maybe.... (just maybe) it raises the magic capabilities, such as Chain Shot with Gunenr, maybe it raises the magic range or bad status length

excellent work!
i'm in the Act 04 with a kampfs char, so far the only mistake i found is in the quest "Morning Mistery", in the quest log it says "Go to Kiril Snow CAVE and gather Pegenta seeds", but the Pegenta seeds are in the Kiril Snow CLIFFS map (there's no Kiril Snow Cave at all)...
thanks a lot

I wonder what will happen when the translation is 100% complete, and perfected with lots of typo fixes? Maybe this topic will be an ancient topic, stickied until GBATemp features PS4 and XBOX.... IDK, 720?

Well, the project is seeing it's end, I can't believe time has passed so quickly, I still remember when I foolishly said I wanna help with Bablefish translation

Darth, the latest patch link [2008-09-18 (Download)] leads to a file called "SomaPatch-2008-09-17.zip". Was this intentional?

So, what is the percentage of translation currently up to? Just curious.
It's in the 90% area now. The wiki is still down, so I can't give you the exact numbers that Darth provided.

HI DarthNemesis,

I'm new to the forum, and I just wanted to say a huge thank you and congratulations on your stellar project! Could you pass on thanks on my behalf for all of the other contributors too?

I'm just at the end of Act 1 and I can understand why you chose to translate this game. Its awesome!!

I understand that the project is now coming towards its closing stages now and I was wondering if you are working on a specific section at the moment? If you are just filling holes in the translation (i.e. more npc conversations etc..) could I make a request to finish translating the all of the hint topics? I'm curious to what Gravestones have to do with the game!

Please tell me, or even shout at me for being cheeky by asking, I know how huge this project has been for you!

Now, I shall go and forge my way into Act 2. Thank you again for your amazing work!

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
