Homebrew So apparently Duck Hunt is 2 Players?

So I just read from multiple sources that if you choose the 1 Duck mode in duck Hunt, the second player can control the duck! It sounds awesome, so I'm trying to do it, but when you choose to use the NES Zapper, I think it disables all other controllers.

So my question is, is there some way to have P1 as the Zapper and P2 as the controller?
