Is anyone having a problem using their Gamecube control in the new version? I can't play as first player with it & practically every button is mapped to bring up the menu. I tried mapping the buttons again but everything is as they should be. The new FCE Ultra GX is also giving me the same problem.

You aren't the only one, and I believe the creator knows about this. I'd suggest sticking to 4.0 for now assuming you are planning on using GC controllers.

Ohh ok! I hadn't known about the update till a few hours ago so I jumped straight to 4.0.1. Thanks for the fast reply, I'll definitely move over to 4.0 for now.

I edited the first post, since a new version is out!
This is the changelog:

* Fixed turning off autosave in menu
* Keyboard fixed, more keys added
* Fixed 7z loading from DVD
* Enable auto loading and renaming of SRAM save without "Auto" in the name
* PAL resolution fixed - no more letterboxing
* File browser scrollbar box now draggable, arrow buttons now scroll list
* Better handling of multiple on-screen wiimotes
* Menu restructured - new "Game Settings" menu

Download 4.0.1

Could someone please post a forwarder channel for this?
Thx!
You could use the official emu forwarder, which has all emus intergrated. And this as well

Same problem here, it's so annoying. Hopefully it'll get fixed real soon. Hell I'm still trying to figure out how to get my old .cht and 000 and 001 save states working on this damn thing.

I hope the new version with a gc controller fix is released soon for both the snes and nes emulators...not that I don't respect his work but it's killing me not being able to use my nes controller (nes->gc/wii cable) on the new FCE ultra. Of course with my snes controller and snes9x i'm just sticking to 4.0.0 for right now.

If it happens with all applications you try to load from HBC (not only snes9x) , this is definitely because you have Gamecube Memory Card in one of the slot (I don't remember which one)

it seems to be only snes9xgx that is doing this, all my other apps load just fine. snes9xgx just gets stuck at 55% every time i load. no GC memory cards installed, just a USB hard disk in one of the USB ports and a GC controller hooked up.

Probably a corrupted .dol file then.. if you installed it from the Homebrew browser, I would suggest checking the dol file size on SD against the released one

Thanks, amazing work. Keep it up!

The only thing I can't figure out is how to add another wiimote in order to play multiplayer games. I can't find the sync option anywhere.

It doesn't do anything to your NAND unless you install it as a channel. If you boot from HBC it runs from the SD/USB. If you install a channel it will run from the NAND but will still save all data and settings on the SD.

activate the 2xsal or whatever option it's called in the games video options. it looks way better almost like it's in HD it will slightly slow down games though i use the soft option it looks the best. 4.0.8 is out now too.
