snes backup/restore savegames

Hi all

As snes cartidgle batteries last for 15-20 years they say, I´d like to backup my saves before needing to change battery and losing all of em.

i have found that this:

didn't recommend it because i remember seen it pricey and some of the cartridges needs adapters which imho they are expensive..

You can use SuperUFO Pro 8 to backup your game save into a SDCard.

I have a Super wild card dx2, a game doctor sf7 and a super ufo 8(not the flash cart).
All of those copiers can backup and restore saves. i have done it many times. I have recently used it on a star ocean reproduction cart i made. it works. U can even take emulator saves and load them onto the carts.

The best copier to get is a super wild card dx2. it even supports my old parallel iomega zip 100 drive. SO thats what i use to load roms. All 3 of these copiers have floppy drives so you will need a floppy drive in a pc or a usb floppy drive to transfer saves.
While the Super Wildcard dx2 is the best copier its hard to find. The game doctor sf3 is $40 on tototek, the place where i got my game doctor. If you get it you will be loading roms lol. specially those custom super mario world roms.
