Homebrew SNEmulDS problem

So I downloaded SNEmulDS 0.6 WIP2 and tried to play it on my R4i SDHC Dual-Core. It worked fine on my DS lite but the touchscreen doesn't work. Is there a problem? Does it need DLDI patching? Please help.

You should try the one from coto: https://bitbucket.org/Coto88/snemulds/src
It is much newer than the one you are trying to use

Also, it might be better to dldi patch it manually if it doesn't work for you

The one from coto is decent but when loading a save state there's no sound anymore. Even worse, when I save on the overworld map like on Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country etc., it freezes with white screen. The emulator doesn't crash though.

Also, Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 lags at the overworld map.

Actually the only side of the touchscreen that's working on the 0.6 WIP2 is that icon on the top right corner where you can open and close the menu. What dldi patch is needed? The autopatch in the R4 or the one with ARM7 supported?

Now every SNEmulDS I downloaded has a bit glitches on the bottom screen. I don't want to use YSMenu so can anyone please share a SNEmulDS rom and cfg?

Oops I forgot to tell that 0.6 alpha also has the touchscreen not working. I'll stick to 0.5 beta for now until I know what's the problem or until I find a version that works.

Curious, it works on my DS Lite with my R4...

Make you sure your SNES folder (where you put your games) and the snemul.cfg file are on the root of your sd card, normally it should work.

PS: the .nds file can be put anywhere you want.

Yes I put the SNES folder, snemul.cfg, and SNEmulDS on the root. Yet the touchscreen is still not working.

Probably the ones I downloaded are already prepatched with some DLDI and my flashcard has autopatching.

Maybe you should try to launch SNEmulDS with HBmenu :

1.on your sd card, create a folder, name it "data" (or as you want) and put your SNEmulDS.nds file inside
2.let the SNES folder and the snemul.cfg file on the root of your sd card
3.on your sd card, put the HBmenu BOOT.nds file on the root of your sd card
4.launch HBmenu, search your SNEmulDS.nds file with it and then launch SNEmulDS

I would use Coto's version without any doubt, is the only SNEmulDS that is currently WIP so it has new enhancements. I had the same problem as you with the GUI and I resolved it by loading SNEmeulDS from YSMENU.

The last version includes an improved GUI for selecting the roms that allow you to move between directories. Take into consideration that the MASTER is a DEV branch and ARM9DLDI is a stable branch.

Or should I say the charger doesn't work, the battery dropped it's percentage after a lot of charges, and the right hinge wore out.
