This is actually pretty bad for people who pre-ordered it via Amazon UK because now they're supposedly gotta have to wait till December 19, or alternatively, cancel their order(s). Although I can confirm that a couple got their GameCube bundles as I saw them on a GAME store, but shortly after they were out of stock.

This will all normalise once Nintendo makes more prints of everything and so people don't have to be spending tons of money for something that'll cost them a lot less than buying from eBay overpriced auctions.
As long as you've got the game then you're fine for now, but of course Smash with the NGC adapter + controller is definitely a much better experience or with the Hori/PDP (Hori-NGC also went out of stock).

Multiple NeoGAF users report pre-orders being delayed to next week and even as late as December 19 in some cases.
One wrote: "Even my order from the Nintendo UK Webstore has a December 1st delivery date."
CVG has contacted Nintendo for comment on the reported stock shortages.
The game was originally scheduled to arrive in Europe on December 5, but in late October Nintendo brought forward the Super Smash Bros Wii U release date to this Friday, November 28. The title is also available to download digitally from eShop on Wii U.
Super Smash Bros Wii U launched in North America on November 21 and is due to be released in Japan on December 6.
Nintendo of America said this week that Super Smash Bros Wii U sales topped 490,000 physical and digital units combined during the game's first three days of availability, making it the fastest-selling title on the console in the US.
CVG's Super Smash Bros for Wii U review labelled the game "the best-looking, most satisfying series entry to date".
