My own (stupid) guide on model import if you want to make low-poly models:

1. Select a fighter
2. Open Ohana3DS ReBirth(smb123w64gb build)and open the fighter's normal.mbn(in c00 folder)
3. Export the model as DAE and export the model's textures
4. Right click the DAE and open with Noesis
5. Export from Preview and set the output type as Autudesk FBX and check Flip UV's
6. Open 3DSMax, go to Customize(Top Bar), Unit Setup, System Unit Setup, change it from 1 inches to 1 centimeters
7. Drag the FBX file to import and set the position to 0,0,0(XYZ) to center the model
8. Place the textures to their actual meshes by drag and drop the image
9.
9.1. Before you start making a monster, you must test whether or not the model crashes. So to do this, select TransN and rotate the x-axis to 0 to make it lie down.
If the model floats, undo and Use Transform Coordinate Center
a.png
(If you got a different logo, hold it and select that) and set it to 0
9.2. Drag CVSExport and save it as dope.csv. Make sure you have the normal.bch of the model
9.3. Hold Shift and Right Click an empty part of the folder and select Open command window here
9.4. Copy mbnMaker20XX_Bone.py dope.csv and paste it in CMD then hit enter
9.5. Place the normal.bch and normal.mbn(the one that you created on CMD) to their respective folders
(<fightername>\body\c0x || <fightername>\body\h0x).
9.6. Now test. If the game didn't crash, you're a success. If it crashes, it's broken. Now there's no good explanation on fixing the missing models. So we have to wait for an answer to make a proper model import guide.
10. After you follow (2) Number 9, import the model that you want. If the model doesn't have bones, you're in good shape. But if it have bones with the same name of the original model, make a new project, import the model with bones, delete the bones(entirely), and export everything as .FBX
11. Resize the imported models just to hide the original model
12. Select the original model's mesh, click Editable Mesh(click Yes if you got a popup message), click Attach, and then select the parts of the imported model(original model's body merge with the imported model's body which will make it as one). Do that with others
13. For texture mapping, ask @Caseyfam
14. Well repeat a Number 9 large(ok. I should stop making bad jokes about #9s) and you're finished!

I realized that when I created my Ness 64 Model Import. Maybe I should work on it.

I hope this is the right place to ask, but i've got a weird issue with saltysd that I can't seem to find any help with. Anyway, I got it working great, I installed a few mods, and they work. Then, I put in a few more (specifically, they were voice mods) and now no mods work at all. Whenever I start Smash with mods, the game crashes after the title screen and forces me to restart my 3DS.

Anyone here got any idea what this means? I'd be grateful for some answers.

Try reinstall your mods by deleting the entire thing and add it again.

so I got JKSM on my 3DS, tried to load up smash, but when I do I get a red screen. I did some googling and found out JKSM has some problems with digital games, but some other people say it doesn't... Any advice here?
