I was wondering, which is more brick proof, Bootmii or Preloader? How do I uninstall preloader if I should use bootmii instead?"

Also, I was wondering on if there was a thread on how to soft mod your Wii in order to play Wii and GCN backups from the Wii disc channel instead of loading them up in the backup gamma.

Bootmii as boot2 can save you from a full-brick later, if you do a NAND backup now, preloader can save you from banner-brick and from semi-bricks you can even use HBC without Preloader or Bootmii

Bootmii and Preloader can co-exist, but if you want to uninstall it, read the preloader guide stickied here at Hacking Forums

SoftMii is the package you are looking for to launch from Disc Channel your backups, better to use it on FW 3.2...!!
