I took these pics long ago when I still owned this controller. It's been traded away a few years ago to someone who had a Alpha II tower and was trying to find the controller for his collection. Enjoy

Wow, I've never seen this before either. I guess it makes sense it would be somewhere between a Sidewinder and the design they ultimately went with.

@MSX I'm just curious, but was that D-pad as mushy as it looks?

Aside from that it looks like a great controller. You never see 6-button layouts combined with dual analog sticks anymore.

I honestly don't remember, but I'm willing to bet it was. Microsoft took the (or perhaps licensed to?) Interact HammerHead FX gamepad and modified it, so a very similar looking controller from 1999 is out there.
